Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in either developing or showing me a website that could accurately predict the profit per hour with a "selected" mining vessel on a selected ore.
Does anyone know of such a site?
I was wondering around and saw some different varieties of Scor, Plaig, some viscious "p" ore, Omber, and different varieties of Veld. I asked myself, which would be the most profitable to mine? Although i did not have a lot of skills (Mining IV, Industry IV, Refining III) i use an Osprey (moving to Rokh shortly) with Miner II's attached.
Could i plug into a site: SHIP: Rokh MINERS: 6 Miner II's MINERAL: Plaig REFINING SYSTEM: ISIKESU (Spelling is off, i know :/) CORP RATING : 1.2
And get this as a result in projected Isk/hour?
Thanks for your help!

Noting quite so cut and dry, but to get a comparison of which ore is the most profitable, you could use the Ore Table at grismar.net. It will allow you to punch in the prices you would sell the minerals for, and it will in turn tell you (based on a perfect refine rate) what the isk/m¦ would be for that ore. The ship type doesn't affect which ore is more profitable, as it just mines a fixed m¦/min, regardless of what ore you are mining.

Are you just looking for a spreadsheet where you input the current price of minerals and let it calculate for you? That's fairly easy to do. If you're looking for a third-party piece of software that will access one of the websites that keeps track of current game prices on goods that's a bit harder. ______________________________________________________ Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? |

Preferably something that keeps track of Jita's lowest prices. That would be awesome if some super-man computer programmer could hook us Eve-addicts up with :).

It isn't too hard to do.
I keep a little spreadsheet that converts the value of ore's refined minerals into an isk/m3 amount, then factor in my own mining rate to get isk/hour. There are some spreadsheets that help you calculate your m3/hour (likely in the stickies). You could also use the ORE Table site (http://cerlestes.chaos-servers.de/oreprice.php) if you don't have your own spreadsheet and just enter in your m3/hour as the amount. For prices in Jita, I created the Jita Mineral Index (http://eve.linkedlabs.com/jitaindex).

My timer has such a feature. Just enter the fair market value for each ore and mouse over the ore names and it will tell you isk/minute, isk/hour, as well as m3/hour for the current laser yield inputed into each enabled timer.
