So can an npc tank forever now? Can you drain his cap to prevent him from armor repairing or shield boosting?

I'm not sure if they can tank forever but they surely can tank 30 minutes+ without anyproblem. I didn't try to drain them since my turrets wouldn't be able to hit the mob at close range.

Sansha battleships armour tank very good, I was in a battle with a 750k one for over 10 mins and it didnt stop repairing, in the end I had to run out hehe :) My lasers aint doing so good against armour, I'm tempted to get a Tempest but not until all the issues are sorted. ------------------------------------------

Beware of the slow RoF on the 1400s. I made a post regarding this in the Patch Review board, but it was ignored by the devs....

Cap draining NPC's is not meant to work though? they have infinite cap which means you'd get an infinite cap gain.
Try target-jamming the BS NPC's with 4 multi's though

I don't know if it was meant to but cap draining does work. Moreover, NPC's seem to have a finite amount of cap.
E.G. I was recharging my cap after a fight by letting a Serp Defender orbit me while I leeched him. I got a couple hundred cap back but after a couple cycles I stopped getting anything.
Maybe the little bugger was dry --------------

Are you saying we can target jam NPC's now? I tried it a few weeks ago and it didn't work :-( Spelling corrections welcome, but don't expect me to edit my post. |

Well I did in-fact try that with my Scorpion put 5 multispec's on a BS (Angel Warlord)and he started running further and further away til finally he warped out of the field.... And no he never did/could target me, he just ran. never did get a chance to NOS him as he kept on running..
