Most likely a blip from Jita fix earlier.

Dead ships remain on your overview, you can't change ammo or fire, that is if you can even get into a contested system. Currently there are extreme lag conditions in even modest sized engagements. So get your carebear on in mostly unpopulated systems as you won't be doing anything significant in a group until this is fixed.
