No longer Pure so I can post in COAD Being new to TKT and Pure (now ex-pure and probably soon to be x TKT) and never getting all my sht together there I am no expert on the real politics but I can honestly say that from my view what happened to Pure was absolutely insane. Pure broke apart when the home systems were handed over to Bob without a shot fired which in affect nearly bankrupted many alliance members and royally ed off many many peeps. A primal rule of warfare is that you can't let your women and children get d, your farms burned and the towns and villages get pillaged in your own country without a fight or you appear and are weak and are owned!!! Pure was owned whether or not their killboard took a serious hit or not or whether their PVPrs lost a boat and they did not even realize it until it was too late. Behind the scenes it was probably much different, but to the rank and file it was another classic wtf happened failire of alliance leadership and then knowing what to do and when to do it. But if you can't overcome this being one of the top 3 or 4 alliances in EVE then you don't belong there. This could have been averted and even stopped in time and could be recovered after all since nobody actually died and we are all still here. Hats off to Bobits and friends for excellant Nepoleonic tactics. You divided and conquered Pure space and diverted the NC... so far. Pure is not dead and if they remain with the NC it will rebound in time. Deklein was a fn dream and an occupied void. Either live their or in Vale. You can't have both when you really aren't as big as you think, especially in the late a.m. when you have much fewer pilots. Realize your limits as Pure never had the manpower to hold it and Vale at the same time in the face of both TRI, Bob and pet attacks. Make a tactical retreat! Now the NC has lost much of the core of a primary alliance and I hope Pure and the NC will endure through it to reclaim it even though I am not a part of it any longer. When rash decisions are made by **ed off people to leave an alliance you get failscade. Yes I am talking to you TKT etal corps that left Pure. Have fun in Venal or wherever! Why didn't you stand and fight for our home even now instead of leaving? Another stupid fn decision. I hope Pure comes back from this. Way to GO Morus Mihi, Razor and allies and to all of the Pure guys still fighting in Tribute, keep it up.. Check the MM Killboard for the last couple of weeks. So far they are owning TRI-BOB in Tribute. :) Pure could learn a lesson from MM on how to defend their space and maybe after a few more weeks of whoop ass against Tri Bob and Pets MM and the rest of the NC will help the Pure guys who are left re-take Vale and Pure can rebuild. It would be a shame otherwise.

That beatdown was given out to Pure without help from anyone in any form. Top FCing and big balls won the day there.

It looks like you do not even know what on earth there have been happening the last couple of month. You have been hiding under a rock?

The only people who wanted Deklein were the people getting the income from the moons. Vale was our home, Deklein was just a money maker for the alliance. Everyones hearts were in Vale, which is why there was/ has been minimal resistance in 0-2. Most of the pilots have been trying to rescue things trapped in Vale. At the end of the day, you can have all the pilots in the world, but if they have no ships to fly in, they ain't gonna do much. And as for not wanting to move to Venal, that was a desicion the whole corp made. I didn't see many against it. We needed the time to regroup and get some ships back. (I still got about 4 billion worth of ships in JZV and ZLZ) Who knows what we will get up to in the future. For the moment i'm hoping to get back fighting BoB, in whatever capacity I can. Or maybe Tri, Helen needs some love.

Also removing ts channels, deleting corps from killboard, revoking forum access, and setting the corps to neutral, was a "mistake". Yes we were leaving (madhatters) but, being kicked without any warning, and not letting us move the stuff out... No comments.

Krakenfurst	Posted - 2008.09.24 05:55:00 - [46] TKT was leaving Pure on the 28th or something to that affect and were going to hand over poses and stuff first and give peeps a chance to leave and get whatever stuff out they had left. Orders were already to go to Venal. Sure TKT got kicked well before, but the decision was already made and was one I voted against tbh. I joined TKT as much for the alliance as the corp. I know there were people fighting in Vale but what I was talking about as far as not defending our home systems was a serious stand to hold JZV, Q3 and MGAM and even ZLZ for that matter. A few skirmishes is not a defense, certainly not one worthy of Pure and these stations were not seriously contested as our main force was told to be in Dek and before that Tribute and before that it was the TZV area, none of which is near the true Pure home space. Pure leadership should have anticipated this and the affect it would have on the alliance as a whole if our core systems were not contested. Pure is not just a mobile fighting force with unlimited resources and pvp pilots but is a community of various economic interest all of which are interdependent and all rely on the Core Systems remaining in tact. This should have been the Alimo, not the Saigon embassy.

It would be a shame otherwise. Wait-----What???!!!! Who the hell are you? I guess your time in TKT was spent ratting or something cuz I never saw you in the fights or in DEK for that matter. And with 6 losses and 0 kills (all being in Vale, as you never got to DEK or Tribute) you have very, very little room to speak out about TKT, or any of the corps that have left. Hell you hardly have anything that you can say about PURE for that matter.
