This is not a post about moderation, this is not a post about censorship, this is not a post about freedom of speech, though each of these issues are likley linked with this appeal.
My appeal is to allow CCP to act with "due diligence" with regards to recent sensitive issues without having to equally manage an added cacophony of opinion regarding the subject. We have a couple of relevant posts for people to air their views on the subject and doesn't need to have the barrage of "brainfarting" we appear to be getting from numerous viewpoints.
CCP have just likely recovered from an energetic and likley exhausting Fanfest, to which I think was mostly successfull and I found it encouraging to have seen all of the new details and designs they have proposed for the future. They will also no doubt be having to review and dicuss all the relevant viewpoints from Fanfest to see how best to relay future blog details and disccusion to ensure clarity and understanding.
My point is that whilst all this extra dissonance about one particular issue it stifling the forums, I can easily imagine the reluctance for CCP staff to not be encouraged to continue the debate about the IG details disccussed at Fanfest whilst emotions and players are anything but mutually constructive. This is preventing imho, the ongoing dialouge with CCP about game features that we all want to see positively encouraged with them at the same time.
So whilst I don't want to in any way stop people from talking about things, can we at least restrict it to the posts already made in regards to the topic to at least provide some form of "normalised" buisness with Spaceships etc. to continue?
(p.s: yes, I hesitated to consider the clicking of the "POST" button regarding this)

No-one, also I won't link sensitive material as evidence at this time as that would be unwarrented but if you knew my stance regarding the recent CSM electorate you'd be aware I'm not a Mittani alt I think.
