As of tonight, Goonswarm are withdrawing their presence in Esoteria.
This weekend has seen heavy fighting with Atlas, C0ven, Stain Empire and other assorted forces. Goonswarm was comprehensively defeated in battles througout the weekend:
- Having 111-F1 entirely reinforced by 80 capital ships
- Losing control of Q0OH-V to a 300-strong fleet as it overwhelmed the cynojammer and broke our valuable jumpbridge link.
- 0-O6XF and C9N-CC were heavily tower-spammed by Atlas, giving them majority control
On behalf of Goonswarm I would like to thank our allies for the valiant, yet unsuccessful defense. I will also congratulate Atlas + co for their amazingly coordinated strikes. This is the first time we have faced the loss of a whole region since the Bob invasion over 16 months ago, and can't help but be impressed.
While we withdraw however, the fighting will not stop. We wish Atlas luck as we draw new battle lines in Feythabolis.

Their great offensive that was planned for this weekend was a stunning success for them. We were utterly crushed by their steamrolling fleet and are now retreating in disarray.

GF. You've won a battle but the war isn't over yet. You've only won this so far because Bobby Atlas stays on for HOURS anchoring more guns on POSs as we are incapacitating them. CCP should nerf this!!11 cya in feyth
