If someone has a good reputation they can get money for nothing. If they had a bad rep they can't get money for anything. Hence why you got nothing time and again when you tried.
The OP's rep is quite bad imo. He enjoys being annoying. He doesn't work to make the market better, he just goofs off. Thus I have no reason to believe he would run an IPO any differently. He may just goof off with our money as well... or just scam it just as a lark.
Perhaps in the future when you are trying to find a way to disagree with me you'll find one that is remotely intelligent. Though I tend to doubt it.

This may be your opinion of the matter. But because you believe he has a good rep does not make it so.
To me his constant necro'ing is a red flag, it makes me question his character. He chose to do it, for whatever reason, and his actions have consequences. Perhaps you do not find this to be an issue, I do. I am simply stating my opinions on the matter, if someone wishes to put stock in my opinions they may or they may decide you are correct. That is entirely up to every person that reads this thread. I offered my opinions here because that is what SiJira asked people to do.
We'll leave it up to those reading this thread to decide whose opinion is more worthwhile.

So, you just want someone to say the plan is good, but you are missing what Shadarle has been saying. You really have very little to back anything up and the reason you are not getting any trusted party to just go with the plan is that even if it is a good plan their name is on the line when you scam, mess up, or just fail. My advice would be to go back post around MD for a month come back write out a proposal (Yes you will have to give up some secrets but trust me you are not the only player doing this) and be prepared to let someone big audit.

I do know who SiJira is. He has posted here before. Perhaps not very much about serious topics as I don't recall him ever really arguing any points on any issues or trying to issue much advice or showing he has any real knowledge. But he has definitely been around quite a while.
He has been around the block here long enough to know how to handle an IPO thread, or should. So I hope he gets it worked out and he doesn't intend to scam. But he likely won't get it started with my money because I question his character based on how he posts (namely to necro threads), not how much he posts.

I've discussed the matter over with SiJira. He plans to focus on trading in a fairly quiet area of empire space, where he can achieve high margins without having to deal with too much competition. It's his stated intention to use public funding to expand into trading more expensive goods, and to place larger buy orders. This seems like quite a safe plan, easily capable of providing 5% per month on the requested capital.
He has offered no proof that he has actually been engaged in such trade, and I would suggest that people think carefully before investing. He has claimed that providing his full API key would reveal information about unrelated activities that he would prefer not to disclose.
I will not be investing, but looking back through this thread there seem to be some others who will be happy to lend him the funds requested.

Here is what I know about SiJira and why I would invest if I had the isk to do so...
When I first started playing the game, SiJira gave me many tips on skill training and on isk making. Sijira even gave me enough isk to buy all of the advanced Learning skills which is 18 million or is it 22.5 million? That was given to me and I hadn't even talked to Sijira before.
I am positive that SiJira is a trader, and that SiJira is a busy trader because throughout my own trading in and around Jita I've bought countless items from Sijira straight from the market. If i wanted to bring so much of a particular item to another system then chances were fair that I would end up buying it from Sijira. It was unexpected.
I am a trader in this game myself but I barely have 1/10th of what Sijira is requesting. If I had enough extra to continue trading after the loan though, I would definitely invest, because Sijira would pay for my GTC's with the extra profits that are promised.
All that I'm here to say is what I know. I do not know Sijira in real life and so I can only vouch for what I know in the game. The decisions up to the investors.

well.... this plan sounds exactly Like SiJ i remember when i was in IAC.
crazy plans with big numbers behind it. When She showed me this thread i was not really suprized for with age peoples plans grow.
I would indeed invest but i have launched sadly my own second account that eats up all my precious iskies because it DEMANDS them. And my proffit margin only own looks somewhat better than she offers. but yeah... other than that it would be fun to keep my eye on and see how she does. And god forbid if her business makes better margin than my own mission grind.. :P

I would just like to post here to say that I also knew SiJira from my early days in Imperial Academy, where she was always helpful and informative to the newbies that pass through there. It doesn't surprise me in the least that she bought some fairly expensive skillbooks (from a newbie point-of-view) for someone who was just starting their EVE career, in fact I remember several instances where we both helped out new players cover ship losses, or get started again after some screw-up.
Just my two cents worth, but everyone has to start somewhere with investment opportunities and as far as I am concerned her reputation is as a helpful member of the EVE community.

Another fact about SiJira... I accidently modified my sell order in Jita so price of items became 1/10 or what I really wanted to ask and SiJara bought it through her buy-order.. When I asked her to return me some isks she did it. Unlike few other persons whos buy-orders benefitted from my mistake.
