All the cool pop culture names appear to have been snapped up in the early days of Eve. Most of them have sec status 0.0, which leads me to believe they've been rotting in their noob station since they were created. Very uncool. Hey, maybe characters that have been inactive since the dawn of Eve-time can be deleted? I'd love to snatch up Zaphod Beeblebrox or Worf, or whatever. I know, lame, but I have the Lame Rant skill to 5 ------------------------------------------- Don't pod me, bro!

Thank you all. Its like you make any new character in a fantasy MMO and the first person who runs by is "Arag0rn" who promptly shoots you with his +25 Ranger Bow of the Infinite and youre just facepalm and ctrl-q. Again, I want none of that in eve. I don't even want to battle the evil alliance led by G4ndalf himself and his trusty lieutenant xXBallr0gXx. The (single) downside to this is that you would have to wait until your character name was approved until you could start playing the game. Make this also apply to Corps, Guilds, Alliances or whatever. The upside would be that 1337-names, household names (in any field) any names with titles or ranks in them (i.e. Lords, Darths, Captains, Misters and Majors) backward-written names and other similar crap would disappear. Or...you could just have the game randomly generate a name for you. You don't get to choose a name, the game does that for you. Just my thoughts.

Its two sylables. vab is one, the v is like the v in volume, a is like the a in car, and the b is like the b in biomass. The jekf, the je is like the english pronunciation of jesus, and the kf is like the c in cat, but right as soon as the sound is made you bring your lower lip up slightly and exhale to accent it with the f. the 'kf' sound is my favorite part of it to be honest. Using it for almost 4 years now. My old names always end up being taken sooner or later. But so far not vabjekf~

I had originally wanted the name "Wraith", but that (and most variations thereof) was in use. I ended up going with a play on the word, instead--one that almost sounded like it could be a real name. But if you think character names are bad, you should try creating a good corp ticker. When I was creating a corp a couple years back to wardec someone who ***ed me off, I literally spent hours trying to find a corp ticker relating to destruction that hadn't been taken (I eventually managed to find [ERASE]). -Wrayeth n00b Extraordinaire "Look, pa!
