Something is WAY wrong when I'm now doing 90% of my damage with missles after this patch. Now that I have to get much closer to hit anything (projectile nerf) I am really using nothing but missles to kill npc's on my missions. Before the patch I was doing decent damage with my guns. Now I just leave em off because I don't hit for crap (they are chasing me so tracking isn't to much of an issue) and when I do hit it's for pathetic damage. If I close into range where they do some damage I'm getting the crap beat out of me and die. Something needs fixed. I'm now really close to closing my 2 account because of how silly things have become. I'm running lvl3 missions in my cruiser, been playing for about a 3 weeks. Loved the game before this patch, now I'm just getting sick of it. My rupture is nothing but a missle ship now.

having the same problem, take a look at the thread on effective range falloff, the math is bugged.
The whole thing is nuts, all kinds of problems, ur not alone :)

Yep same here Wraith. There was supposed to be a hotfix Friday (right now it is Saturday 12:30 GMT) and I believe they said in it that they had a fix for guns. I haven't seen any patch so it must have been a server side fix? I'm gonna go out and see if my guns are working now.

it is becouse they want ppl to use lasers on amarr ships, but now projectile are not long range anymore....
the idear that projectile was long rang and low damnge, and lasers was low range, high damage and hybrid was the midlte was looking like that was it they was doing, but now, how knows....
