Personally, I fail to see the impact of an attack on a neutral location when you tell everyone about it a month in advance.

It'll be interesting to see what happens, though. I think there's a good chance it'll be a non-event and everyone will just stay docked or out of the system.

Frankly, the more I read the more I believe this is just a ploy by goons to generate ISK.
I am not a smart trader, but you can be certain just the CONCEPT of this is driving prices in all kinds of directions.

Fail attempt has failed to usurp the carebear level of don't care-edness. Carebears don't care so much they don't come to your space and they don't harass you and indeed they don't even fight back. That is the ultimate don't care and there isn't anything you can do short of dying of starvation next to a pack of cheetos that will demostrate a don't care level beyond that of the carebear.

I highly doubt there's going to be a mass attack on Jita. If there was, it wouldn't have been announced.

This is probably just a ploy to incite manufacturers into thinking there's going to be a huge demand for ships and mods so they'll flood the market with those items. Then due to no 'Jita Burning' will end up having to sell all those items at a much lower price than usual.


By the way, I Don't Care Anymore.

I'm not worrying, I will still visit Jita. Every time a gank happens, Concord stays on grid for a while. And if lots of people gank, Concord's presence cascades. Making it harder for people to Gank effectively for a set period of time, limiting the total damage done in a set period of time. Then there is the fact that Goons mostly live in USA, so they are only online at certain times. And don't forget the problem of falling security status. Each Goon will only be able to carry out a set number of ganks before they start worrying about their security status and stop.

You should be warned, CONCORD won't let you farm us for isk like with NPC incursions.
