there are probably a thousand corp thiefs at large, you do a background chekc on someone before you allow them into your corp, and your good, MOST of the time, my corp doesnt let in people w/ exceedingly long corp histories
oh, and dont give them roles immediately after they join, and if htey give a stupid reason to need roels, still dont give it to em

Possible, but virtually all languages (and certainly all languages with phonetic alphabets) utilize punctuation.

Wasnt Fireraven (the origional one) the cool guy who quit Eve but gave loads of stuff away in competitions on Jita local. Pretty sure he was giving away stuff like faction mods, ships etc out and all people had to do was answer the question right in local.
That was over a month ago so i'm figuring that the dude who stole from you bought the character recently.
Allways do background checks, previous employment, forums, character sales etc. And most of all don't ever give anyone access to 16 billion isk worth of stuff, or else youre pretty much asking for it to be taken off your hands.

A month can be a long time, paticularly if he was a serious confidence man... I'm sure you know one, the type of person who can smooth talk them selves in to almost any job, who can make anyone thier friend, who people just can't help but want to believe... Or maybe he's right in a way that there's 16B missing. It seems to me that swiping 2.5B worth of stuff immediately after another thief has made off with 13.5B would be a clever way to hide one's tracks.
While I don't condone your actions fireraven, I have to give you props for owning up to them.

You would be correct. And I'm not the kind of person to try and say I didn't do this, that would honestly be foolish on my part. Better to be a an honest thief than a liar, I never said I wouldn't take the money and run. and if all else fails, the alliance has 2 POS's worth of collateral to make their stay worth their time.
The alliance CEO and the Engame CEO are both leaving the alliance soon on top of the fact that the alliance has been steadily declining in activity over the past month and a half. And when an alliance sinks, somebody liquidates all the assets and makes a fortune, usually the CEO leaving. Figured I'd beat them to the punch.
