And don't even worry about cap. 50% capacitor bonus for small lasers, + a variety of skills (Cap asving for AB), you'll see a new breed of interceptor, one thats capable of performing the way it did before patch and capable of putting the others behind it. And no, its not king interceptor thats capable of taking out a BS. It will be an interceptor capable of performing its intended function, fly in quick, do its job, strip some shields and move out again.
Just my thoughts.
Just a quick note on this quote... the Claw has the same powergrid and cpu as the Crusader so that puts them both in a tie for "Biggest powergrid for interceptors"
And for the mwd sig increase.... it does little to hurt the interceptors that I can tell so I'm guessing this would be the same for frigates. We did some testing and my Claw could barely be hit with the mwd off and was pretty much impossible to hit with it on. We did test with mwd on of me circling at other persons opt range, at his opt+falloff range, with me charging straight at him and away from him and out of hundreds of shots I believe he hit me less than 5 time and never over 50 damage.
These tests were only vs med sized hybrids and still havent had time to test vs other guns but we hope to get around to that soon... I really want to see tests vs lasers.
:edit: Weren't tests like this done on the chaos server? I still dont here much from ppl that tested things like this on chaos if anyone could get on it.
