Once upon a time I believed command ships to be superior to Bs, just recently im seeing less and less pf these ships around however.
Are command ships still viable (in both there forms) or have they been indirectly nerfed ? I just dont see them half so much anymore

Any word on planned boosts to the field command ships, being beaten or matched by your T1 counterpart seems a bit sad for such a high sp ship. =/

I find the tanks on them normally quite decent, damage is so so, but yes they arent the 50-70 million isk better than a Tier 3 BC.
Although if CCP wants to kill them off itb be a shame.

With the upcoming speed nerf the minny CS will lose a good deal of there tank as well, sit a minny command ship still and it dies =/

How would you go about reducing a CS cost, or are you talking about adding T2 insurance (which would be a minefield)

Not heard of CCP ever reducing cost on a ship but it would seem to solve this prollem. Cant see it happening though =/

Its not like the ships are useless by any means, but the cost that used to be justified by there uniqeness is now a little over the top. I think its not the Command shis innate abilities that make it overpriced but the budget nature of T3 BC, and to a certain extent the increased abilities of HACS.
A chap earlier mentioned the zealot in comparison to abaddon, also consider a Eagle compared to a vulture. Eagle can put out more damage than its command ship sniper counterpart ? Something not quite right there I think..

Not sure a Nighthawk would kill a drake, a Vulture woould be able to tank it but not kill (which is as its supopsed to be I guess)
Although I have no experience with other races command ships vs Tier 3 BC.
I know Caldari are weak in pvp due to either having a tank or tackle, I have ehard gallente suck now due to certain nerfs, I imagine the Minny will lose much of there lustre post speed nerf.
Amaar will be the only ones nto sub par imo, which seems to be the way the game is going as a whole.
Is hould start cross training right now =D

I agree so much, and its true that despite minor quibbles about how to fix command ships most if not all posts are giving constructive fixes for these maligned and neglected ships. Its good to know I just dont thouroghly suck with them =)

I dont think CCP likes to work in absolutes, but boosting cap regen to the point where its able to keep up with a single tank module (Large shield booster for example).
