The Littlest Hobos aka [WEDIE] are recruiting experienced, and not-so-experienced PvPers. Here is a little about us, our history, our alliance, what we offer, and what we're looking for 
About the Corp
We're currently about 50 strong, and a good 30 of that are our various alts, with a focus on the EU timezone with a token US presence whom we love dearly. We have a balance of casual and power-gamers. Average age is 25-35 with a few exceptions. Most players are very experienced PvPers, who have been exposed to a variety of tactical situations. We've done pretty much everything and are happy to share knowledge, whilst being open to learning ourselves. We're a very 'capital heavy' (30+) small corp, with far more caps than members, but we use them with discretion.
The corporation is a supportive environment where individual opinions do count and help shape the decision we make. We have an informal leadership structure and members are free to persue what they enjoy in the game. We hope that will be flying with us shooting things, but if you want to farm LP for a special toy, or do something a little unusual, that is fine provided it is not your sole activity :p
What you see is what you get - 100% open and honest. No secret forum areas for backstabbing, no hidden agendas, no messy politics. Everything is out in the open.
Our history
The corporation was born nearly two years ago. We were the most active PvPers and FC's in the large and sprawling ISS alliance. Deciding to take a different route, we formed the corp. We undertook many campaigns as a seperate entity, all of which where very successful (including killing a medium sized alliance and causing them to disband to Empire, which is quite a feat for a 50 man corp). We also flew alongside Ushra'Khan a number of times, helping them in the defence of various seiges on their space.
We then joined Insurgency during the early development of that alliance. We quickly because the second best performing corp in terms of kills, with a fraction of the numbers of most corporations in the alliance. We nearly always contributed the most capital ships out of any corp (which is how we try to be - a small corp with a big punch), and we defined Insurgency's fleet doctrine which let to stunning successes during the middle phase of Insurgency's growth.
Following Insrugency's internal combustion, we moved into Faction Warfare for a time, on the Minmatar side, and it was fun. We then decided to join Ushra'Khan and re-base to Curse, our current home, since we have flown alongside them for several years, and have close ties and a shared history with them.
About our alliance
Ushra'Khan is one of the oldest and most respected alliances in the game. They have a rich, vibrant history, and we've been with them for much of it.
We first flew with them around 2.5 years ago, helping them successfully defend the first seige of their outpost at the time. Since then, we have maintained close ties and offered our help when we can. It was a natural progression for us to join with them, and it is something which fits perfectly with our own development and history.
Ushra'Khan are a minmatar roleplaying alliance. Essentially that means local chat should be in-character. We don't run around with costumes IRL pretending to be freedom fighters (well, not all of us :p). Its very much 'role play lite' from our perspective but it does add an interesting dimension to the game, and is something we enjoy. It does not limit us in terms of PvP (current corp 'ship of the month' for example is the Beam Zealot for some reason :p ).

What we offer:
* Small-to-medium sized gang PvP
* 0.0 NPC space - Curse, we pretty much 'hold' quite a few sections of it which is good opportunities for ISK when you need it
* A unique roleplay dimension which adds meaning and substance to what we do within our alliance. It isnt 'just' mindless PvP.
* Fun - no big alliance political bullshit, no internal drama, no pos grinding, no 'compulsory' ops - you are free to play as it suits you, and you're encouraged to have a life outside of eve.
* Stablity - very few people leave our corp, and if they do its nearly always on a temporary basis and they retain forum access etc.
* Help with logisitcs, we can move your ships/items for you and help get you set up in Curse.
* If you have a capital, we'll help you with cynos and you can use corp fuel to get about.
* In the longer term, if you don't yet fly a cap ship, we can and do help get our members in capitals where such help is needed.
* A supportive environment of PvP veterans where you can learn and develop your in-game skills (if you need to!)
What we're looking for
* Well balanced people. You'll be spending time with us and probably become a friend to some of us too. You need to have your head screwed on.
* The ability to fly a Recon or HAC and fit it properly. That is the bare minimum. We don't have an arbitrary skillpoint limit. What matters is your attitude and how you use those SP's.
* A desire to spend most of your time in PvP related activities.
* Teamspeak and a microphone.
* Your limited API key and username will be requested.
* If you're not a very experienced PvP'er, an open mind and a willingness to lose a few ships as you learn the ropes. Some experience of 0.0 is probably essential though.
We'd rather have keen and enthusiastic newcomers, than bitter veterans, thanks. Of course if you're a happy and enthusiatic vet, you're welcome too.
How to apply
You can drop an application in at the top station in Mendori, and we can take things from there. We'll speak with you on TS to move things forward. You can also join our public channel 'The Big Issue' and have a chat with us and some of our friends.
