because no server they have can support 1k players having a fleet fight in one system?
thats the truth of it... the node is reinforced to the fullest extent it can be - crashing it is quite a feat and a testament to the stupidity of the eve playerbase
max-stupidity?
Says the side that jumped in 600 people into system.

Quote: Probably because no one knows who is winning. Supposedly 2 BOB MOMs bit it, and untold numbers of other ships. I haven't actually loaded system, and I expect that my wreck is right where I jumped into system two hours ago.. kinda hoping someone probes me out and pods me so I can get out of system... (probably jump into another ship and come right back, because that's what it takes to try and hold/take space in this game that we all love to hate)
Considering we don't have a single MS on the field, someone's lying to you to boost morale.

Yea, of course that is beneficial to the defending alliances - but all alliances are defenders at some points.
I'm sure there will be any number of people who think it's a terrible idea - but whatever, waiting for hours to try and log in isn't exactly fun.
It is a terrible idea. You would get alliances deliberately crashing the node so get ride of the attacker while their own people are all relocated to the same system.
Not really - what would happen is that an organized attacker would have all of their pilots move their clones to a nearby location on the way to attacking.. Defenders will be much less likely to stop and move clones on the way to trying to prevent the attack - because they don't know the target until later than the attackers do. The one that would benefit the most would be the more organized military.
Nearby location could be a dozen jumps away, and by the time the attacking fleet gets there the defenders could have the cyno jammer repped already.
So how about no? |

All those wrecks are NC, I'd say about 40-45 caps for 0 losses, including 15 revelations.

Nope, you make sure that when a node crashes for some reason you and your buddies (who conveniently always happen to be BoB) get to log in the most ships straight afterwards. The enemy is then sat staring at either black screens or empty grids while you shoot the crap out of them.
Simple really. Then go brag on CAOD.

Hmm odd, I swear I see more red caps on this screeny than blues, must be my imagination.
NC screwed up, they were disciplined enough and people were shooting 5-6 targets at once and not killing any of them. End story. |

You see a load of caps there that never loaded properly. Aside from a couple, they never loaded the grid or even got past the black screen. So yes, we were disciplined enough while we sat there waiting. But other then that we couldn't shoot..
And you assume the same didn't happen to us?
If you showed up on grid, it means you loaded the system, but not the grid. Grid loading has a lot to do with your clientside settings. Fast PCs+correct settings= much faster grid load.
I personally spent most of the fight at the login screen, didnt manage to log in till there was only about 20 hostile caps left(and all carriers).

No, it just didn't happen to you in the same numbers. I have no doubt some of you had black screens and what not, but to nowhere near the same extent as we did.
So somehow magically all the GBC people that you see on that screenshot have loaded grid but the NC people haven't?
Wow you're desperately grasping at straws. I used to be ex-NC, I know the extent of the tinfoil hattery your FCs will go through to convince themselves losing a fight to bob is never their fault.
Its pretty sad really. |

We all know what the responce from people in BoB will be that everyone is crazy for thinking they cheat, hack and exploit as they have been proven to do. It would be nice to know why CCP deem BoB's losses to a node crash to need replacement and anyone they're fighting shouldn't get the same treatment. Can we get some form of responce from CCP as to why these dual standards exist in game, what it was BoB did to earn this advantage (free motherships and a ship replacement program from CCP).
If you are not cheeting then you are not trying.
It's not cheating 'till you get banned for it.
Isn't it about time some of your guys did get banned for it. ZOMG NC has a better cap fleet QUCIK NODE CRASH.
Yes zomg we just double DDed half of the NC support fleet at the gate quick node crash so ccp can roll back the server and respawn the 200 dead NC ships! |

It was your system. We weren't the defenders, you are. Aren't you the ones that are supposed to be already assembled and waiting for us?

Repost from SHC
Quote: Just going back to these points:
One of our guys was apparantly tanking most of the forces (6-7 alliances) in his sieged phoenix. Most of the opposition dreads on the field were red-squared on him, and he tanked them all for what must have been at least 30 mins of that fight before they changed primary.
We wondered what was going on (or that Rick M must have found a deadspace capital shield booster!) until we found out the opposition dreads were not sieging. A phoenix can pretty easily tank 10-15 non sieged dreads in laggy conditions, especially if a number of those caps are reloading in the lag (aka Nagl's/Moros's)
Your FCs screwed up and lied to you. When I was in the NC when they screwed up they lied to me too.

Then NC caps dreads logs in and die 1 after the other on a gate..Okay that's probably a mistake but...WTF bob loaded the system, we couldn't, that's really crazy to play eve this way.
Don't fool yourself, I don't say "Metagaming" blabla or anything...I just say, if we could have all logged in the system at the same time (BoB and NC), the fight would have been awesome instead of this piece of shitty slaughter...I don't know if BoB members would have wanted a nice fight instead of this...well this is really too bad.
Maybe 20 ships on the GBC side did the bulk of the damage.
And you guys did have dreads logged in. You had about a dozen caps shooting at one of our phoenixes according to TS. Yet our phoenix tanked your entire fleet because your FC in his infinite wisdom didn't siege the dreads.
Also, cynoing in at a gate is just sheer stupidity when you have POSes in the system. You know what happens in a node crash? You go back to the last save point, which, for most GBC pilots, was at an armed deathstar, allowing us to load the system without dying.
You guys loaded onto the gate where the fight was taking place one by one, and thats how you died for the most part. |

Do you really think that that is how NC lose so many and BoB lose nothing ?
I'm ex-NC. There is no some super secret bob hax or special game knowledge. The NC FCs has a habit of making bad mistakes and then lying to their own members to cover up the fact. They did it at F-T as well. |
