try this http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Network-Tweak/WinSockFix.shtml
Thank you!
I downloaded the latest version of the utility from here, set a restore point, backed up the registry and tried it out. Worked a charm! EVE client can not connect and every other internet app still works.
Thanks again.
Cheers, Arrs

I had a similar cap recharge issue when EA came out. So it might not be only this patch.

help please, anyone?
I have problems downloading the new patch and my client auto - patching doesn't work. Also, I cannot download any files from the eve website hoping to download the latest patches 1.1/1.2 manually.
Is it possible if anyone can provide me the latest patch files 1.1 and 1.2? please send me in my personal mail: [email protected].
Your help is most appreciated.
Regards, JJ

No probs here, in fact I've even seen a drastic reduction grid load times as well as game response time; even while running EVE side by side with Warhammer Online, both running at max settings. Note that I was testing this in Ardallabier's ice belt, which always has a huge number of cans floating about and was always causing a huge slowdown on entry in the past. No issues with the patching or login either; on Windows Vista Business x64; haven't tried it on my XP install yet. Solarforge Manufacturing Making T2 Invention easier than IKEA assembly! |

That probably won't work; most email gets cut off in transit if it's more than 2 MB.

I have the same issue that Arrs Grazznic has detailed on my XP machine, but not on my Vista box. I know have two clients running on the Vista box, but I'd like to get the XP machine back up and running.
My XP box at work (Shh, don't tell anybody) has no problem. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Umm, yeah. Don't have any time to talk now. Maybe later.
