A family is incomplete without parents. And similarly, an empire is incomplete without an emperor.
But tonight, for the first time in over three years, the Empire will go to sleep with the knowledge that the Imperial throne is occupied.
And just as a loving parent will seek to act in the best interests of their children, so too does an emperor act in the best interests of the people.
For it is the people and emperor together who make an empire - one cannot function for long without the other.
And let us not forget the subjects of the Empire, be they Amarrian, Khanid, Udorian or Ni-Kunni. Truly, they are subjects of God as well as Empress Jamyl, and should be rightly proud of their acheivements.
There may be those who will query our new Empress' right to the throne.
To them I say that I do not know the exact means by which she returned to us, but that the Privy Council and the Theology Council do, and from their response we can see that something marvellous must have happened.
Who are we to doubt the judgement of those to whom the Empire was entrusted?
We in PIE are proud to have supported the Empire for many years. It has always been our policy to support the current Emperor no matter what house they may have belonged to. For the Emperor is of no house and all houses.
Just as we supported Heideran VII and Doriam II, may they both receive glory in heaven, so shall we support Jamyl I. Just as we have fought for her predecessors, so shall we fight for Jamyl I.
We don't fight for personal glory. We don't fight for personal enrichment. We don't fight to slake a primitive bloodlust.
No, we fight to defend our way of life. We fight to protect our children. We fight because it is our God-given duty to do so.
In a moment we will swear fealty to our new leader. But let us not do so out of fear, or out of a sense of self-aggrandisement. No. Let us swear fealty because, simply, it is the right thing to do.

Through times of trial and tribulation the Amarr Empire has stood firm praying for the day another leader would ascend the throne. The return of Lady Jamyl Sarum to defeat the invading heathen fleet in Sarum Prime and the execution of the still unknown weapon some now call "The Hand of God" which destroyed multiple capital ships including a Ragnarok with a single blast was in itself an occurance for the history books which shall be passed on thru the ages forever and ever.

The word of the Empress is law. I know my own current stance toward slaves (and that of the SPCS) is based on the decree by the past Emperor that slaves be treated humanely.
If the Empress decrees this stance no longer applies and directs us toward a different path we shall obey. We serve the Empire and obey its leaders not our own insignificant desires.
Fortunately I can not imagine such a situation as you describe.

She does? I didn't know! But when you see how many Amarr ships are going down last weeks their war-accounts need every credit they can get, of cause.
I just ask cause I heard it the second time now. Even if it is seeming to be highly implausible there have been queens, matrones, empireness doing that in history before.
And of cause there is no shame in selling your body, isn't the service as a leader meaning to give your body and soul to the people? Maybe her highness is doing this in a way that is on a more material than spiritual sense of meaning? Of cause there is no shame in this. Some of my comrades had been freed from Amarr pleasurehubs where they were forced to do some unspeakable things and now that so many slaves are freed and fighting on our side, they are now quite a little short on personal on these places and maybe Jamyl Sarum wants to help out?

I do suggest you re-examine your own political system now that it has been converted into a tribal dictatorship.
And you might ask Shakor's political opposition whether a "free" Matari has the freedom to chose peace over war. Oh right, you cannot do so because they are all dead or in hiding.

very nice indeed,
One thing bugs me though, why do the majority of PIE Inc pilots emphasise that the
Empress is "legally annointed"?
Is there a reason for this, or is it just my mind going on a temporal paranoia rampage?

"Fealty" why does anyone owe fealty to anyone else. Collaboration should be based on the mutual interests of the whole nation, helping each other as neighbors and kinsmen to achieve big goals, not on loyalty to 1 person.
I believe you are wrong, this is actually the epitome of free will. A person chooses to give all that they are in support of a higher calling and power. They give up their individuality freely to become part of the greater whole. This decision, this choice is the ultimate act of free will.
I was not forced to make this choice. I could have freely gone about my business without this proclimation. To make it is purely an act of free will.
