Right so ive been told that a Raven is supposed to have more DPS than a Rokh. Right now my Rokh has 347 DPS with 425mm Prototype Gaus Cannons x8. However if i look at my Raven, even with tech 2 Cruise Missile Launchers it only has 267 DPS!
I can just use the Tech 2 variant of the Cruise Missile Launchers so i can increase the DPS a little bit but i dont think itll get even with my Rokh DPS.
So my Raven is using 3 Ballistic Control System II`s, and 6 Tech 2 Cruise Missile Launchers.
My Rokh on the other hand is using 8 425mm Prototype Gaus Cannons, and 3 Mag stabs.
Heck according to the guy that i got the fit from, from the Battleclinic website, i should have 600+DPS!!
So does anyone have an idea, apart from my skills, how this is possible? |

Just checked EFT... if i put tech 2 ammo in the missile launchers i get 574ish DPS... which will be more than my Rokh but still not the 600+DPS it should have. |

Well i cant check ingame atm as im at school now... but i know my Rokh has low 300s DPS which EFT shows is about right... and my Raven with the tech 1 meta 4 launchers has high 200s DPS... |

@Beforethestorm I am aware of that but according to EFT even with all level 5 skills ill still only get 575 DPS... Drones are not included in both cases |

He did state, and i just checked, that its 610 DPS without drones and 769DP with drones... heres the link to the fit im trying to make work

He did mention he assumes all level 5 skills but even then i dont get 610DPS |

Just figured it out... well kind of... i used 3 Ballistic Control System II.. he has 4 of em. But EFT shows me Raven doesnt have enough CPU to fit that 4th BCS and i replaced that with a CPU Upgrade II.
So i guess it IS my skills that i need to train up. Now just need to figure out which ones XD |

No EFT does and cannot subtract target resists as far as i can see.
After some re-checking if EFT got my right skills, i found out that it didnt. So after updating my skills on that, i now see that my Raven with the tech 2 Cruise Missile Launchers will have 412 DPS.
Jace, Damage Per Second.
Total volley damage is 3858 so its respectable :) |

Yeha right now my Raven is all set to go.. took it out on a level 4 mission and guess what? It didnt do crap for damage with tech 2 fury missiles! It has better DPS than my Rokh now but it has problems killing BCs even.... Ended up getting my Rokh to do the mission.
Im thinking perhaps EVE-Survival gave me the wrong damage type for my missiles or perhaps my missile skills still arent high enough... either way im gonna try it again to see if it was any of that.
@Stitcher ... I didnt know Torps on the Raven could get it such high DPS. However in this case its a Tech 2 Cruise Missile Launcher Raven vs a Tech 1 meta level 4 Railgun Rokh. I personally prefer my Rokh this way and its been good to me so far. |
