Pegasus falls perfectly in line with caldari ship types. Many are named after legendary beasts e.g. Chimera, phoenix, Wyvern. Pegasus was a winged horse in Greek mythology (i think) I think it wld suit some kind of dreadnought derivative. Awesome EVE history

Its also a kind of underwater monster thing. Oh and Caldari are named more after greek/roman style beasts e.g. chimera, wyvern, leviathan. While others are birds e.g. falcon, hawk. Some good bird names would be: Perrigrin (<-spelling? lol) Skylark etc Awesome EVE history

Lol. The leviathan is from the Old Testament of the Bible.
Actually, considering the Caldari's preference for airborne creatures, "Tengu" would probably make a pretty good ship name.

Caldari
Cassowary (Most dangerous bird in the world)
Ostrich (Fastest bird in the world)
Chimera ("a thing of immortal make, not human, lion-fronted and snake behind, a goat in the middle, and snorting out the breath of the terrible flame of bright fire", sibling to Cerberus and Hydra.)
Hydra (Multiple headed water beast, sibling to Chimera and Cerberus.)

One vowel away and yet two completely different words.
Though, if you think about the associations with rapture and rupture for too long it might cause the government to come take your mind.

I would fly a mongoose.
Of course, the only thing it could possibly be is an interceptor/AF, otherwise it doens't make sense.
Of course, the fact that the Raven (battleship) is a substantially smaller (and less respected for some reason) than the falcon (cruiser) baffles me to this day.

I thought Intaki was Gallente. Or is there something in their bio which makes them Caldari-related? In any case they don't look Japanese or even Oriental at all, unlike the Jin-Mei/Achura/Khanid.

Well, if we're use Greek names for the Gallente, we might as well put in Daedalus. Can't talk about the Greek mythology without mentioning Daedalus.
