I've been playing Eve for about 4 months. I love the lore of Eve and I like getting into the lore of the games I play. So last week I finaly decided to join a fairly large corp with a large alliance. As with most corps I was required to download ventrilo. Anyway I joined a pvp op and logged onto vent and all I heard was high-pitch voices and whiny nerds.......this absolutely broke the roleplaying aspect of Eve. So CCP I will pay $15 a month if I'm able to play a singleplayer Eve universe with NPC, mission, computer generated market, but I'm sorry I can't play this awsome game with such sub-par ppl. Your game is the best game I ever played but like everything else ppl ruin the experience. Till then I'll be playing X3.

Just play alone, this character of mine has supported himself mostly by himself doing missions.
I've also went into low-sec recently (around the Heaven constellation) and went pew pew on some roid pirates for bounties. All by myself.
You can play EvE by yourself. You just need to swallow your fears and doubts and DO something about it.
Thanks for advice, I wish more ppl like u played Eve.

Who's the bigger whiny nerd, the guy with the nasal voice or the guy who wants to play this giant game on single-player mode because he doesn't like the quality of the people he shares the multiplayer version with? 
The first guys a whiney nerd and the second guy is just trying to enjoy a game by himself.I'm not gonna force myself to play with sub-par ppl I don't like so I'm lookin for an alternative and if their isn't a singleplayer version then I'm movin on. Also the chat channels are filled with gamebreaking chat.

All I was asking is if I can enjoy a single-player version of Eve online. I know it's an MMO (and it's my first MMO) but I obviosley don't like MMO's so I was asking if their was a single player version (apartlently theirs not) so I guess I'll move on. Also I'm sorry if I offended ppl with high pitched voices and your right were all nerds to an extent.

I don't know why you guys are insulting the creator of this thread over this topic. EVE without real people would be a better game if you asked me.
Thanks Raven this is exactly what I meant...I talk to people all day I just want to play this awsome game solo. Yes this is my first mmo, and I knew I would be playing this game with other people but the other people really ruin the experience. Thanks to the people who understand this and to the haters well you really bring this game down. |

Yeah you're a gansta! We are all haters of you mate because this is a multiplayer game. Listen my son, this is a massively multiplayer role playing game. Thus there are REAL people playing. Not all of them are going to be ROLE playing when teamspeak is used.
I would love to pod you. Which is why I like multiplayer games like this. When I do pod you, it will be a real guy sitting at his computer screaming stuff at his monitor.
AND I would be very happy to hear you on eve voice or TS or whatever screaming. It would make the whole experience very real for me. :)
