I would encourage this, open up beta of Dust for some Goon fighting on the planets of Jita.
I agree with several people: CCP needs to focus most of eve's recources on FIS, but the development of WIS still needs to continue, just as a slower and more efficient pace.
In eve I wish to be more than just a machine. |

I finally got around to reading this thread and I am very much saddened.
I thought it was going to be about how all the CSM Voting turned Mittani hater/white-knighter Alts were going to be ganked in Jita before being unsub'd.
That would have been a much better thread. |

Yeah, but if you're salvaging/looting the wrecks our newbees might blow you up with their thrashers (and maybe pod you). Please try not to hog all the delicious space wrecks.

CCP has a month's advance warning an a special server specifically designed to handle loads like this. There won't even be a hiccup. Goons aren't out to crash it, anyway, they're out to shoot you.

Can you not see that goonswarm really is trying to ruin eve and not as darius johnson stated trying to ruin a players game. Cos ruining a players game, makes them wanna quite, hence ruining eve as a game and product...
I mean they have grown so big that they now pretty much can control eve in anyway they want... First Ice Miners, plus other stuff and now this...
not sure i want to play a game where one alliance can control a whole game, when they want and how they want with pretty much no consequence. They lose 100 hurricanes, so what..their trillions in the stupid amount of moon good they get just keeps the constant churn going.. They could do this everyday for a year and have no problem doing it...crazy aint it...
So your solution to this is hiding or unsubbing like a chicken? Why not join one of the alliance and fight or create a taskforce and fight back.

Highsec has been way too safe, way too long, with way too high income. It's about time something happens. I've no love lost for goons, but if they actually do something out of forums and create havoc in high, it might just be the best thing they've done for this game.
