Hi all,
I'm sure someone has asked this before or I'm being stupid or there is a thread, but anyway:-
Do Hardwiring implants have a stacking penalty ?, ie if I put a Squire GU8 in whihc gives me -5% CPU need and then I put a second one in slot 7 do I get -10% CPU need ?

Hardwirings act like skill boosts, none of which are stacking penalized, even on stats that are normally penalized, like turret damage.
Next, you can only put certain implants in certain slots, and you may only have one implant per slot. So asking if you can plug two GU8's into slot 7 is a moot point.

Thanks, I realise that only one implant can go in one slot it was just the stacking thing, I didn;t want to spend like 100m to find that there was no benefit.

What the previous poster meant was that hardwiring implants are only for a particular slot. The one you are talking about will go in one particular slot, but not in any of the other slots - there is an attribute that tells you the only slot you can use for it.

Does a guide exist to Hardwiring ? sodding expensive I bet even though I haven;t been podded for a few years I do now , lol

There are guides out there, though they vary in what they do. EVEMon and EVE Fitting Tool both allow you to browse through the available implants more easily than using the market.
A quick google search - hardwiring guide eve - came up with this and this and this, at which point I ran out of time ... "work" is a four-letter word! I'm sure there were lots of others, and maybe post a question here.
