Using only tech II or named gear, and only Tech 1 rigs, can a Navy Issue Vexor achieve over 1000 DPS? Best I came up with was

When overheated with maxed skills, this little baby gets 956 DPS. With implants it will get over 1000, but I was wondering if there was anyway to improve this.

You can add more damage mods, I guess, but short of upgrading to better guns / using dread guristas antimatter (it's slightly better IIRC), most damaging drones + most damaging guns + most damaging ammo is by definition impossible to beat.
nice setup though

Don't think so, but two Hammerhead are better (if you discount hp) than an Ogre, the Warrior is just a spare...

Thank you, that did it! Exactly 1000 DPS with Void M, 1017 DPS with DG AM, dropped the 800mm plate to a 400mm and chucked the RCU II for another damage mod. Beautiful!

Would still get insta poped by any BS with a webber, but would melt cruisers like butter.

oop's I was deleating the bulk of the post and leaving the bit I wanted but must of missed that bit. It stops bulky posts and the fourm rules don't allow tree's deeper than 4.
to the op, where did you get that fit? If you didn't make it, you should at least understand what the mods do before flying it. I'd keep the bit of tank and settle with the just under 1k dps.

about 140mil if you shop smart
I think you can get the hull itself for as cheap as 80mil now-a-days
The ACR I rigs are pricey at about 20mil each, but you can shave 40mil of the cost by dropping the plate for an RCU II, then removing two of the Ancillary current routers.

Well, it makes sense. I've only gotten faction ammo drops from the "dread" spawns out in 0.0. Ammo always seems to drop in clumps of 1k, and the odds of actually getting the exact type and size of ammo you want is pretty slim. DG Anti-Matter is absolutely ludicrously lethal, but this is theoritically compensated for by the fact it's nearly impossible to get a hold of and staggeringly expensive when it is available.

to z0de, I was just throwing pratical fits around in my head, then noticed the supreme amount of DPS the NIVexor is capable of. Then I started wondering if an affordable (read: tech II and tech I rigs) setup could be made that achieved 1000 DPS, just for laughs. It seemed like a good benchmark.
While I would never consider flying this ship with DG Antimatter or even void when Navy Antimatter is so close in damage and far better in terms of price and performance, but for the sake of sillyness, I wanted 1000+ DPS.
With 3% implants, the setup in the OP is capable of over 1000 DPS.

There is some DG antimatter m ammo floating around, but not too much. I've only got about 1400 rnds - and 350 DG paradise cruise, and don't anybody bother sending offers for them, they aren't for sale.
You can get 750-800 dps out of a normal Vexor hull with no expensive rigs. :)

CPU implant needed i think, other wise last neutron wont fit regardless of the meta lv cpu saving items. Hustler Cosmos gun would work i think if you happen to have slaves in. |
