Yes this is a Mittani thread, but at the same time it isn't.
Does CCP report to any government/authorities people who makes threats of killing themself IRL? CCP you have the credentials of a player that does this, and you should report to national authorities suicidal people who directly say they will kill themselves. I know that in alot of countries every person, no matter what profession or confidentiality agreement you have, is allowed to report about stuff that can prevent loss of human lives (among others).
I'm not read up on the current situation, but I banning the offender will not solve the issue of suicidal persons. I would ask you to please report anyone that claims to be suicidal, and possibly are, to his authorities.
CCP, you don't need to confirm or deny that you are doing this, of obvious reasons. But, as a guy that lost family members to suicide, I urge you to not pat yourself on the back just because you take action against the offender, but also to take actions to try prevent said persons to commit suicide.
Eve is a social game. CCP must take social responsibility, and you might do this already.

This is my way of moving on. I think we all lose loved ones in one way or the other, but prevent people from departing this world too soon is something that is a good thing.
I don't think suicidal people is possible for us "normal" to understand.
I don't know about the OJ simpson trial or what not, and can't see the similarities. |

While yes, it may be futile, at least if it's done the way you sketch it up. But your example is a bit extreme. Alot of countries have help lines for suicidal persons. It can be christian or muslim, it can be humanitarian. You can also call the police or social services etc.
I understand that you may think it's invasion of your private life if CCP report you to any authorities if you are suicidal. The exact laws for each country I can't answer for.
As CCP is already taking this responsiblity. I apologize for posting on forum. But I tried searching for this information before, I really did. |
