I've decided to have two tech 1 hangar bays in my corp, one for supplies (Quartermaster's bay) and one free-for-all that members can take from.
The idea is that a Director or Quartermaster then has to periodically move stuff from the QM bay to the Open bay, so that there is always a little of everything available in the Open bay. A few Merlins, a few of each tackle module, a bunch of ammo.
The problem is, I can't open both windows at once. I have to click the tabs to see either the Open window or the QM window. First of all that makes it difficult to compare the two windows, so that I'm able to quickly see that there are 1MN MWDs in the QM window but none in the Open window, so that I can realize that I should move some over.
Secondly, moving the stuff is a bit difficult, since I have to Ctrl+click each item, then move everything up onto the tiny "T1 Q.M." tab, with a very real risk that I accidentally end up putting the stuff in the wrong bay.
(No big deal for me since I'm Director and thus have access to all bays, but a problem for a corp member with the Quartermaster role/title since he or she only has access to the two T1 bays and not to the five others.)
Am I doing something wrong? Have I overlooked something?

You could drag the items to your personal Items hangar, then drag them from the personal Items hangar to the Open bay. Otherwise, no, and no. |

I thought about that, but it strikes me as a very clumsy maneuver. Also, it does not let me compare the two hangars.

Use your corporate assets window.
- Open up the corporate hangar
- Navigate to free handouts division
- Open up the corporation window
- Click on assets
- Click on stations
- Open the drop down list for the station you are at
- Open the drop down list for the Quartermaster's hangar
- Compare contents in both hangars
- When ready, highlight items in question in the Quartermaster's hangar
- Right click, "deliver to hangar", select free handouts division hangar
- Breathe sigh of relief

All that sound a little Complicated.
All I do is highlight the items in one, and drag-and-drop the on the tab of the other bay. Assuming both bays are in the same stations.
Example: Mining ops delivered ore to "mining" tab. They are reprocessed in that tab. I then grab the mineral and drag them to the "Mfg" tab for out industrial guy to use in his operation.
