Switch to one of those fancy 64 bit servers or whatever. ATM this whole northern conflict is so borked I almost wonder why you guys bother. Node crashes, screwey lag, lag, lag, and lag. It probably doesn't help that so many forces are involved that can bring so many players to the field. Just pray no one else decides to head up north and starts shooting for the "fun." Imagine how bad it would be if another mega blob joined in...

You end up with gimped, ineffective setups. The whole 'double DD proof' battleship thing is ridiculous, you end up with a bunch of completely useless ships. Might want to also check the TRI KB for how well that DD proofing worked for them. Another factor you might also want to consider is that smaller ships are more likely to avoid a DD by simply warping out, than quad-plated BS. ---------- AKA 'Bitter Dog' Failing at everything he does in EvE since '05

I hear it gives great setups.

The use of a scorp is not in question, however my point is that they wern't very doomsday proof. ----------

Scorpion has enough buffer HP to avoid being one volley'd by anything larger than a thrasher, can be insured, is a cheap effective throwaway ship. You can tank one to resist one single doomsday if you know the type withouth gimping (too much) the setup with appropriate resist rigs, however you won't be able to use particle dispersion rigs and you won't jam too far away. -clp gotta update dat sig

Posted - 2008.10.12 09:56:00 - [259] one can only assume they brought the,i think scout said 30+ scorps? to attempt to **** up our remote repping of the carriers which they might have been able to do in a completley perfect eve with no lag and such but instead they allowed themselves to all get bubbled and dd'd....alot,there isnt any ship that will be effective in a fleet(for what purposes they had) and survive dual dd's so maybe trying to not get dd'd next time would be a good start :P im sure this is all part of eddz plan tho. very smart eddz! but luckily we can afford to dd you like over 9000 times more,keep trying tho,WE HAVE FAITH IN YOU EDDZ!im sure you will succeed eventualy tbh.....maybe,until then we will just have fun shooting the like ridiculous amounts of people trying to get rid of us ><
