300~ hostiles just moved in to attack Tri holdings in vale. No cyno jammers are currently down. Hostiles jump bridged in to 1-g and got their fleets in position.
No doubt its going to be an interesting evening. I will try and keep you guys entertained as this progresses...

New way to earn isk lose alot of carriers/moms on gate crash the node. gte ship back insurance.
just think how much isk you can earn with a 50 man cap fleet. btw fitt t1 mods you will lose about half you mods :)

I wish the Aeon had died then I would of had insurance and ship back but didn't get insurance so ship didn't die before server went down anyway :(
My nyx on my screen was never in the shield or aeon wasn't but had hit approach on it. Had aeon locked from 80% shield to 20% armor (then got in shield with nyx so lost lock) and RR never turned on. Same with a carrier that died before I could remote rep it even tho had it locked from start of armor.
Rep on aeon didn't turn on till it was in hull.
Stackless IO is nice.

I was in the Nid being shot at; was taking damage from ships I could not see, at a pos I could not see, was in structure when node crashed.
When node came back up, everyone was back to the JB we entered at like nothing ever happened.

Confirming the following:
1) Tri Aeon did not die, got in to POS shield in 3% structure, then the node crashed, he still has all his fittings and no insurance payout.
2) No more than 2 drones have been launched from each Tri capital ship, no-one can broadcast for reps, or even activate remote reps
3) Tri BS cannot warp to grid to snipe
So yeah, it's going pretty well!

Differing views are being some people havn't talked to the actual owner who does know the percentage, and were just guessing from what they saw on watch list etc.
The owner has confirmed he was at 3% structure.
However, the server is such a cluster**** at the moment I don't think what anyone says is reliable, and we'll have to wait till tomorrow for accurate results.

2%, 3%, 5% hull, where is the "nobody in tri jumped with an aeon in C-F" tri post ?
Differing views are being some people havn't talked to the actual owner who does know the percentage, and were just guessing from what they saw on watch list etc.
The owner has confirmed he was at 3% structure.
However, the server is such a cluster**** at the moment I don't think what anyone says is reliable, and we'll have to wait till tomorrow for accurate results.

400 is many ? before that epic upgrade sometimes u were able to have 600 man fights and node didnt crash that often
like 4 times in 15 minutes ? :P

And how would you propose someone do that? Bring only 100 ships total and hope your opponent is cordial enough to do the same? Or bring a large fleet and not use the majority of it and hope your opponent is cordial enough to do the same?

I think CCP needs to focus less on cash flow from getting new members, and fix their game so that dedicated long time members can actually play the game. This is the worst display of "game-play" I've ever seen in nearly 5 years of playing this game. Terrible. Everyone loses. |

2nd point, im just making reference to the fact that when i started playing 25 man fleets were a big thing, and 50 in a fleet was omgwtfhuge, and since then there has not been any significant work done to the servers to be able to handle the capacity nowadays, so dont be surprised if your nodes are crashing, because the servers cant handle it.
I dont do 0.0 stuff anymore for this sole reason.

Ok every Pilot involved gets some Gamecards from CCP depending on ship presented in system. Then u threw a dice and call your Target and write an e-mail with your Gamecard and your Dice result. CCP does calc it out by Abbacus and write it down then sets the system to the outcome of the Cardgame and puts the node online again.
No pilot is allowed to login until this process is finished, and no Skill can be changed sorry.
Time to finish this will be shortly as about 6 month.........

Honostly, on our screen he was inside the shield, I'm in your image in a carrier so we are talking about the same grid.

lets turn eve into an turn based game. one fleet do a move and then after like 15 min the next fllet can do it moves so the servers have 15 min to catch up.

He was showing 20km out the shield for tcf, so who knows. But yeah, hes still not collected insurance and several of us saw him inside the shield repping armor from our side.

I know you REALLY want to claim that you killed a Tri mothership, but that fraps does not prove it. The raven pilot lost his lock but no wreck was produced, no call that he lost his lock do to the death of the ship. All that movie proves is that you were not caught up with the server. Unless someone can produce screen shots of a wreck this will always just be a he said she said.

Its called desync. On my screen nyx was outside shield by a long way yet I couldn't lock anything because was in shield.. You didn't reload grid the people that did in the carriers said it was in shield repping then node crashed.
Aeon was outside shield whole time on screen as well. Either way it didn't die b4 node death because of lack of insurance.
I do wish I did get the insurance tho :P
Either way CCP won.

I did cut the fraps too early, but can tell you that later on 2 or 3 frames (only, as I thought it was dead I didn't bother to look there), I see it hull intact, flames behind, slowboating straight, no wrecks visible. So to me it didn't die.
And quoting one of my reply on SHC :
Yep, what's puzzling it's that most of TCF saw it well outside, and most of TRI well inside, so now I don't think we have that many liars, so my guess is that the people that were already at the POS (us, TCF/goons/etc) had a 1st kind of desynch, and the people that came to the grid later (you) had their own... "timeline" ?

Well, it seems the crashes tonight have favored Tri from a situation where who knows what might have happened.
Local on final battle was 450 with 214 hostiles (including 2 titans and 30ish logged carriers / MS - 40 before first node crash -).
Without the advantage of initiative and following the node crashes, attempts were made to take down the jammer alas without success.
As for the evening, well it was ****ed in a global way thanks to CCP. Could have been fun.
Oh well i enjoyed warping on that cynojammer being repped with all my smartbombs making Disco !
On that particular matter, from my point of view, the Aeon didn't die.
There were like 5 6 allied BS pushing him towards the field as they had made an approach on him to bump him and the lag kept these ships on the ms tail.
Anyway it's best it did'nt die as the ship insurance would have been too much a nice bonus.
And now i predict childish nobrainer smack by so many people ; please prove me wrong.

After CCP got the server sorted out the final hour of fighting was epic with little lag and a lot of DD death.
Goes to show what CCP is capable of when they decide to put their efforts behind shoring up the servers. Wish they'd do it more.

Really, the node aught to auto-reinforce after a crash. Switch to one of those fancy 64 bit servers or whatever. ATM this whole northern conflict is so borked I almost wonder why you guys bother. Node crashes, screwey lag, lag, lag, and lag. It probably doesn't help that so many forces are involved that can bring so many players to the field. Just pray no one else decides to head up north and starts shooting for the "fun." Imagine how bad it would be if another mega blob joined in...

Well thats where our opinions differ. I don't believe in DD proofing anything. You end up with gimped, ineffective setups. The whole 'double DD proof' battleship thing is ridiculous, you end up with a bunch of completely useless ships.
Might want to also check the TRI KB for how well that DD proofing worked for them.
Another factor you might also want to consider is that smaller ships are more likely to avoid a DD by simply warping out, than quad-plated BS.

primarys are primarys they are the most effitve single ships they can take out upto 6 battleships dps's by themselves so yea they are primary for a reason.

5 shild extenders + 3 rigs gives 36-37k of shield, and if you maybe add few plates 2 maybe you can score some 15k of armor, but in that fit whole point scorp is bit pointles. But 2DD proven on that fit.

Falcons don't really do well in high lag situation, since their only defense is the ability to jam from great distances and warp cloaked, getting out of hairy situations... they also require a significantly higher SP investment to be effective, because at Recon IV they jam barely better than a Scorpion.
Scorpion has enough buffer HP to avoid being one volley'd by anything larger than a thrasher, can be insured, is a cheap effective throwaway ship. You can tank one to resist one single doomsday if you know the type withouth gimping (too much) the setup with appropriate resist rigs, however you won't be able to use particle dispersion rigs and you won't jam too far away.

one can only assume they brought the,i think scout said 30+ scorps? to attempt to **** up our remote repping of the carriers which they might have been able to do in a completley perfect eve with no lag and such but instead they allowed themselves to all get bubbled and dd'd....alot,there isnt any ship that will be effective in a fleet(for what purposes they had) and survive dual dd's so maybe trying to not get dd'd next time would be a good start :P im sure this is all part of eddz plan tho.

The question is not if you can double DD fit a scorp or not - you can.

Eddz said it would be easy, so what's the problem, you are failing at a much higher rate than Tri vs CVA and Tri was the outnumbered party back then too.
I admit I am a shit pvper and a lame empire hauler ganker, it's about time you admitted to your and you're alliances flaws. (apart form that they getting smashed in the balls by Tri as everyone already knows that)

its my point of vue, but im TCF and im the evil in da op ? right ?
I know what your objective was, take down the cyno jammer and then proceed to remove Tri from Vale and replace with someone you are less scared of.
The tactic I assume was to use poorly fitted ships, to try and trick the pos that you are not a threat and then give it the old "wahpah" karate chop to the cyno jammer.
The result was huge price rise for battleships in Jita.

You keep saying I don't know anything however I am providing facts and can back them up (apart from the mails as they were deleted off Scrapheap Challenge). You are just crying foul to everything I say, you have no proof or basing upon what you say. You just say whatever crap floats in your head and then use the fact you are in TCF as proof.
I had been in Tri for years and I get told a lot more than you probably get told by your alliance (I often get told more than Tri members get told, I knew they had 2 Erebus before anyone knew they had etc).
If I don't have an argument or if I am proven wrong I will stick my hand up and admit it, however you know damn right you are talking through your arse, possibly because you have your head up there. It would explain the severe tunnel vision you have afterall.

Interesting. After Goonswarm and Morsus Mihi parted ways because they blamed eachother for the loss of the war in Delve they now are forced to work together again. |

none of that matters as it was all done under the gbc umbrella!!!! but just for you tri has 4 stations in vale atm,i dont member nor have any idea tbh about goodfellas and what the hold atm but it could prolly be described as a 'majority' of everything in dek if not all
