well. as unbelievable as it sounds for those that know me. I must make an effort to be less of a kill *****.
eve is a game. game = fun. funfunfun.
i got mad last night because we didn't kill ENOUGH. I wasn't satisfied with the kills we got (which included a bloody carrier). i wanted moar. MOAR! a horrible addiction. what will satisfy it? nothing.
So where does that leave me?
Well, focus on fun. Sure killing is fun, but then so is spinning my ship in the station. **** it even mining can be fun, so i don't need to kill x number of targets to acquire happiness. That must not be my focus.
What about dying? jdok hates dying? Well its not that I hate dying, I just dislike grinding for iskies. If i ever figure out my isky troubles, well, then who cares! dying = hilarity sometimes, like getting wtfpwned by a tri nano gang outta nowhere last night. I think i pee'd myself a wee bit. Was I upset? yes. But why? I have a new title now (brings a knife to a gunfight), a new ishtar, my wallet is still fine, and i have learned not to be the only nano ship in a BS gang (hey there come kill me!) So meh, accept it.
That's really what its all about. Accepting things for what they are. Died? accept it, kill? accept it, mad chilling on gate for 4 hours and nothing happens? accept it. Or quit the game and go do something else you can accept. Because when you don't accept shit, when you whine and moan and refuse to derive satisfaction from the act, then whats the point?! noone has a gun to my head to play eve.
This shit can be fun as hell. The ridiculousness, the blue balls, the suspense, the epic glory, the fiery doom. All of these things are good as they are. Be chill with that and funness will come.

After reading your post I have came to the conclusion that I am missing something, did you do an EmoRageQuit post recently and this is some sort of explanation / apology? Have you recently stopped taking your medication, did you have a severe head injury? I don't know, but I hope you receive the care and attention that you require.

jdok flipping out? Not the jdok I remember.
Sure, you might have gotten upset sometimes, but overall you seemed rather easy-going, and you seemed able to laugh about just about anything, even if it was your ship getting blown to hell.
Honestly, I think that what happened was you started to take the game too seriously. Exuro Mortis trying to hold Fountain put us all in a situation where we needed to "grow up" in an EVE sense, and that's just not something that we were (or ever will be) ready for. We (Slackers, and most of former Exuro Mortis), weren't meant for refueling POSs, or POS warfare in general. Sure, we might dabble in it, and might be capable of it, but it was never our strength.
Anyway, try to think of what it was like to play EVE before we went to Fountain, in the glory days of camping EC-P8R, or living in Delve.
Everybody gets mad sometimes, it's understandable. But there is much fun to be had in this game, and it doesn't always revolve around blowing other people up. Fun is about being around the right people too, who are not obsessed with kill after kill, but who also value other things, and have a good sense of humor :)
