I am an Irjunen local, the lag is bad here. 
Theres a level 4 agent quality 18 here from Caldari Police Force and lots o pilots run missions here, never under 100. In the last few days i have only accepted missions outside the system, but now just going into Irjunen and requesting or delivering missions is a pain. A few moments ago it took almost a full minute to load a players bio.
Irjunen deserves more power!

Agreed the level of lag sucks in irjunen - for a system with a high level 4 agent and a population of 100+ players 24/7 this needs a little bit of love from ccp

The Irjunen lag problem needs attention. It is impossible to do anything. It took me 5 minutes to use a factory slot to make some missiles. There is no way to do missions.

It comes and goes.
Some days are worse than others (and it's not entirely consisten with the population either — I've had it lag with only 50 in local, and I've had it smooth as silk with 150…).
Brings back fond memories of my early days in Umokka

The population varies, but the lag still stays. The game is just unplayable! Atm, I've been trying to change my ship for the last 15 minutes. Same goes for talking to an agent.
I'm thinking quitting Eve for good. |

It only has one (well, unless you count the L2 agents), but the sec level means the rewards are through the roof, so I've found it far more common for people to leave stuff around (why bother with the wrecks when the ISK and LP is so good?)…
…not that I've gone looking. Nonono. Not me. Also, stay out of the neighbouring Inari, because it's a really annoying system to scan in. Yup yup yup.

Protip: Missioning outside of hubs generally makes up for a slightly decreased isk/h income by having less lag, allowing you to complete missions faster. Just sayin'.

Irjunen has the best Caldari highsec combat agent, the only one giving up to 8.5k lp per mission, so people can't be blamed for doing missions in Irjunen, that's like blaming traders for trading in Jita.
The lag has increased the last days and weeks. There were times where Irjunen had over 150 people and we had less lag back then than today with 120.
The most annoying thing is the autofire module ******ation: at one time today my launchers had a rof of 13-14 seconds, while the theretical rof is 8.3 seconds, that's just not fun and i was forced to stop doing missions. Whenever the agent gives a mission outside Irjunen the modules work like intended, so it's not my comp or my settings that cause this effect, it must be the System lag.
I hope we get a dedicated node soon, like the few systems mentioned in the last week's dev-blog; Irjunen is one of the major Caldari mission hubs, with the potential to grow even bigger because of that exclusive lvl4q18 agent, so it for sure deserves to be looked into by some devs.

Irjunen seems to be totally broken atm. Cannot dock, jump, warp or change skill. What a shitty game. |
