Hey folks, what websites are out there that cover exploration? I seem to be able to find very little other than the DNightmare one and was wondering if there are others out there? More specifically looking for maybe community sites where people share stories, experiences, tips, etc but would like to know of all exploration based sites. Thanks.

You will quickly learn that its best to keep exploration secrets to yourself. Competition is bad. You can always chat in exploration channel if you dont ask dumb questions.

And here we are again with this issue. There are no dumb questions, only questions that may have been answered before and that appear elsewhere.
To the OP: by all means go and visit the exploration channel if you want, but I can almost certainly guarantee you won't find the helpful, all-inclusive camaraderie and support you're looking for.

I would not go to the exploration channel for help until you have read every guide on exploration you can find and do some research into it on your own a bit.
It is not that the people in there are hostile, it is that they put a lot of effort into figuring things out for themselves and resent people who come in there and expect others to do all the leg work for them.

Thanks for the replies. I know of the exploration channel and have used it a little but it's not answers I'm really looking for. I've been exploring on and off for quite a while - long since before exploration became as popular as it is today - indeed before exploration even existed in it's current form.
I'm more just looking for like minded people who enjoy exploration and the fun it offers. I'm not looking for sites that give away trade secrets, on the contrary I'm half tempted to start one myself, it's just that the general exploration community seems somewhat erm, "shy" lol :)

Because the fewer people who know how to do it, the fewer people actually do it, and thus less competition for sites.

QFT After i told my corp members how much i could potentially hual in in isk in one day everyone and there mother in corp started I get so many questsions now

That's all fair enough I spose, and not unlike many other areas of Eve. I just felt some kind of exploration website that covered everything for everyone would be beneficial to the community at large.

And thus not very beneficial to explorers in general. We want less competition, not more. There is a guide which tells you how to do it. Beyond that it is called "exploration". Go explore.

I mean no offence but when you say "we" are you referring to the general consensus amongst all explorers or just yourself and a select few others? The way I see it, the glory days of making billions (quickly, at least) through exploration are long gone and all that's really left is an enjoyable exercise in finding fun stuff that should be shared with everyone.

there is a good like 7 minute tutorial video on youtube.
im too lazy to grab the link
but it tells you all the skills required, what probes to use for what signals, where and how to drop the probes. everything you need to know.

Yeah but we both know its not as though you can knock out 10 of those a day whereas I'm more referring to back when you could do a radar site and net easily 2b for your efforts.
