i bought eve may last year, played for a month then i quit. thought i wasn't going to come back, now i am here again, as a complete noob, oh, i could have been the daddy with a deathstar...

I played Dark age of Camelot on the Mordred (PvP) server for over a year, and if i had to choose between L2 and DAoC/Mordred server i'd settle for Mordred any day of the week. :|
Edit: Can i have a piece of the Switchbl4d3 pie aswell?I promise to use all ISK/Items etc. donated to me to gank stripminers and wreak havoc.

hmm to bad m8, havent talked in 3 months, but I always chk if ur online playing the game :) That way I feel a bit better, knowing that someone still pays the money to play this game, not only me!
Btw if u decide to quit, give it to raz

Leave for a few months, take a break and come back. I played in beta and was here for release. Stayed till about August or September, don't remember which. Then CCP did something that I don't remember any other MMO doing. They sent me a 14 day trial for my having been a beta tester. That was classy to me, so I came back to see what had changed and compared to release thre more good then bad. Hey I got battleship now, when I left I could bearly keep up with the cruisers I was losing ninja mining. (Thanks to all those CA people that enjoyed hunting me, you know who you are <smile> Pod you later)
So take a break, come back when Shiva is released and you will probably feel better. Whatever you do, don't make the mistake I did of not keeping your skills training.

Im actualy against piracy m8. ive never taken part in it My sec rating comes from pure CA gankage in empire....Im hoping my friends will give me some pirate gankage work until july 4th my expirey date

hi bud im back in CS poping up on the phoenix server once in a blue moon... caught up with a few old flames but key people missing in action think one of them went japan one got sacked and lost a server and one done weight lifting and was gh3y:)

I know tonnes of guys in GODS who dabbled/dabble in L2, most of those who tried it in BETA came back the second they had to pay cos it wasn't worth it. None of the content is in yet....
But it's always good to get a break for a while to help you appreciate the game more, personally i just set up a second account and choose a different career with different ships and different choices, it opened up new things to me and now when i get my 2nd PC i can run both so i'll have 2 different experiences of EVE from 2 different view points....
Whatever you do keep coming back in just to skill and get those pesky LO-O-O-O-ONG term skills going while ur away. If in a good while you're still happy NOT playing EVE then you'll know its time to go. If you wanna come back however you'll have the skills to carry on

I'm planning on keeping Eve and picking up Guild Wars when it's released. Guild Wars won't have a regular monthly fee (just 'optional' content upgdates). I was fairly impressed by the Guild Wars E3 for Everyone demo.
That should be a proper mix of fantasy and sci-fi to satisfy my multiplayer desires, and just one monthly fee :)
If you do leave don't trash your character for no reason. You might want to pop in briefly whenever Shiva is released.. ;)
