Having a big NAP isn't the worst strategy, it depends on what your goals are. If your alliance exists to say wipe out BoB and all who side with them then putting everyone else blue helps you to achieve your goal rather than hinder it if you have spotfires burning all over the place.
Not sure what Goon's strategy or goals are, perhaps that is what you should be asking.

They have BoB, SE, Tri, Goodfellas, Atlas, Executive Outcome and some small pets red. Thats a nice list if you ask me.

Fixed. They lowered the goal 2 months ago. Only using 1/3 of their nap list against us tho.

GS NAPing should not be a surprise to anyone who has fought them recently or has an alt in GS. Their participation numbers and general distaste for capital and defensive POS warfare combined with the weak position of their allies who will actually come defend them had made them intensely aware that a multi-pronged coordinated offensive will likely be very costly. GS claim has expanded well beyond the space that they can actually expect to defend.

Yeah that is like 1/10 of the 0.0 alliances.....
Goons would for example never in hell have droped the blue with IAC if they for a minute thought they would beat AAA.
