The original poster is hinting at the recent "moon mining 'sploit drama-scandal." Rather than simply writing what he thinks of the whole mess, he is attempting to disguise or cloak his true intention - hence, I wont guess at it.
Anywho. The issue here is conduct. Has CCP done a proper job? No, certainly not. If they had done a good job, the bug (or feature if you like,) would never had occured, let alone be left unchecked for so long.
Now that we agree that CCP ought to have found og fixed the problem long ago, there is really no more to talk about. CCP has promised to do their best to not **** up in the future, but also told us there is no gurantee.
Those who willingly persued this bug have been banned (or will be.) They have hopefully beem found to have been using it. They have violated the EULA and they have ****ed right up and down the rest of us.
I usually try not to cheat. I ocatyionally do so in single player games, when I find the game booring, and simply want to see the end-game. I recognize that by doing so, I am ultimately cheating myself. Cheating in multiplayer games carries a harsh penalty. Not only are you chaeting yourself, you are cheating others. You team, your opponents and the illusion of gameplay balance.
I degress. I have my perspective of cheats and cheating and I no longer think they are the biggest threat to MMOs in general - it is the lack of forward momentum.

I think it's quite amusing on how all you folks would try to hide the dirty money, as if you guys have any idea of what you are talking about.
It reminds me of two little 7 year olds talking about how they are going to build a spaceship and go to the moon.

anyways... money seems to be more easily available than SP. super caps pose the final frontier where you probably have to work hard to obtain one but that's it... the eve-world doesnt reveal its beauty because of lack of isk but because 90% of the time you dont have the (proper/high enough) skills

Since isk for cash is still a problem and probably always will be, CCP actively tracks all large isk transfers and specifically large gains. All those of you who think bouncing it from one character to another will work have no idea how easy database transaction tracking is. Mix this with IP tracking and you'll easily know that the same person logged into both or all accounts. Result = BUSTED!
Having said that, Eve is for the hardcore. Making losses hurt financially actually reduces the desire for PVP. If losses didn't hurt so much, more would be out popping ships so a cheat like that would benefit the game in that way, although CCP would have to create a wholly NPC market because you wouldn't need to mine to make isk. No miners means no ore which means no ships to play with.

5. Get banned along with everyone else who figures it out when CCP finally fixes it 4 years later!

There's nothing at all 'untraceable' in that process. Just because your request to transfer the money was lodged out of game doesn't do anything. The actual transfer is still done in their database which they can peruse at their leisure.
Same goes for the geniuses who think that by jettisoning faction mods in a quiet spot somewhere they have successfully 'laundered' their isk. What morons. Transferring a module in this way leaves just as obvious a trail as a direct isk transfer. There's still a bunch of database transactions leaving a trail at every step.
Now, there is some chance that certain types of transfers aren't logged fully, or the logs are discarded after a short time, thereby allowing laundering to work. But we don't know if these exceptions exist or what they are. CCP sure as hell isn't going to tell us. The only safe assumption is that everything you do is recorded forever. Anything else is just rolling dice.
As Voogru says, it's hilarious watching people come up with these ideas. The guys at CCP must **** themselves laughing at the people saying 'ZOMG I can't beleive they caught me. I even did the transfer when there was nobody in local, at a safespot!!!'.

2) Distribuite 2b to each of my alts through buy-order/sell-order.
3) Wait 3 Days
4) Just before countdown, buy ETC for each of the alts.
5) Wait one moth
6) ???
7) repeat for PROFIT.
8) Before gettting banned, just before DT, massbuy the whole ETC market. and use it.
