Let's say you tried typing /give 1,000,000,000 isk <charname> just for fun and noticed that the targets char wallet increased by 1 billion ISK.
Would you:
a) Contact a GM and inform them of your deeds.
b) Not do anything, wait for a long time to see if you were discovered, and then do it again.
c) Not do anything, wait for a long time to see if you were discovered, and then never do it again (but keep the ISK)
d) Other (write in reply)
Let's speculate that for some reason this glitch was an old backdoor that someone forgot about and nothing from it really was logged. Would you still derive as much pleasure from playing the game, you think (if you didn't report it)?
Personally I'd go with option a, because whenever you cheat at any game, it loses it's challenge-factor. And you essentially stop having fun playing that game (I remember the old C64 trainers with infinite lives :/).

1. Log onto a trial account.
2. Give myself a couple billion ISK.
3. Buy some horrendously expensive stuff on contracts.
4. Dump it all at a safespot, pick it up with my main so that the transfer of ISK can't be traced directly.
5. Sell stuff, buy Hel.

Reminds me of Quake.
On a serious note. In EVE, I don't only derive pleasure from challenging myself, but also from screwing over others. I'd get as much money as possible and buy everything in Jita. Then place buy orders for everything at 10bil ISK and there you go, broken game.
Or I might just covertly cheat just to get a little edge without getting caught and banned. |

Having an unlimited cheat source of isk would easily ruin the game for me, there would be no reason to earn any more isk, nor would there be any thrill at the risk of loss.
And I'd definately report it to make sure no one else was using it.

I'd give a ton of money to various mercenary corps and alliances to fight each other, random alliances, and other people i don't like, then report it a bug a week or two later

there is a cheat, thats what you must do:
1.Open People and Places
2.Select "character" and search for "whisk"
3.Right click on whisk
4.Select Give money
5.Enter exact ammount of money you have in wallet
6.Press ok

I prefer the Quafe cheat: Hold down Ctrl and type: quafe
If you're lucky, this supposedly puts free can of Quafe in your cargo hold. It worked for a friend of mine...
