Recently.. over the last 2-3 days i've had the worst lag ever imaginable whilst playing eve. It took me an average time of around 8 mins to log in. i know it doesn't sound to bad but the real problems occur in the game.
It takes me 3 mins at the very least for me to get the docking or jumping message, and a further 4-5 mins to acctually appear in the station or next system. Even simple things like chatting takes ages, i keep getting that sound whenever i type something, so i find myself hitting enter for ages till is posts, Using the market is also impossible it takes around 20secs to bring down the market window and a further minute to load the basic screen, going into submenus is a proccess of extreem patience.
Everything seems to be a near impossible taks.. it took me 30 mins to travel from station to station 2 jumps away, in my punisher (frig) with warp points!!!!!
I have not attempted to take on a kill mission by my agent cos i fear that by the time i am able to target the NPCs i'll already be dead..
At first i thought it was just a temporary lag, cos some ppl i knew were also having it, but its been going on since thursday. I really hope this is sorted out soon,
I really want to play..
Could anyone who is having similar problems also post here.. i want to c if its a more widespread problem or if its only me.
