Kalika Binat Shad0wtech	Posted - 2008.10.16 19:17:00 - [6] a macro miner is a character controlled by a program "the macro" tha automatically runs mouse clicks... they usuall have nonesensical names but not always. they are 99% in a npc corp too. if you talk in local they ignore, if u convo they ignore or give random answers.if u steal from their can they ignore. good chance they are automated players they need to be killed

Most macros now appear to anchor a GSC and use that for transfer. They use a regular can until a ship gets close, at which point they switch to the GSC. (No idea why really...just observable identical behaviour on a couple groups) The general tactic against the bozos is to actually show up in a Mackinaw yourself...wait until the unsecure can is nearly full and then jet a can and flip (they don't use the unsecure can if there's a jet-can nearby either) Mostly whatever they're using is running by their overview almost exclusively. And they seem to have all exhumers turned off to reduce clutter. But even then they're getting smarter, probably setting their overview to show anyone with a bad standing and making me show up regardless of my ship type. One of the guys from his alliance actually replied to it saying it was 1 guy manning 15 accounts and fell asleep at the wheel. Epic fail.
