Can someone please explain to me the reasoning behind not allowing secure cans in freighters and JFs?
I recently moved my corporation across a great deal of distance and it is really a big pain in the you know what trying to keep peoples items separate without those little secure beauties.
I know you can use General freight containers but of course these are very large and not well suited to moving peoples personal items.
Am I simply missing a solution to this issue?

Nope, not even standard containers I think.

980,000m3/3,000m3 = 326.6
326 x 3,500 = 1,141,000m3
1,141,000m3 +(980000-(326 x 3000))= 1,143,000m3
becuase a gain of 150,000m3 cargo space is ******ed.

This, for sure... however, that said, there is no reason why CCP can't develop some smaller freighter cargo containers that do not expand in volume to overcome this issue. Let a 3500 m3 container stay 3500 m3 and usable within a freighter; or some other reasonable size; i.e. 10,000 or 20,000 m3.

That's just what I'm thinking. I'm not by any means looking for a way to expand the capacity of these vessels I simply want a way to be able to section up the storage and thereby be able to move a number of people's possessions without a massive hassle. |
