I found this screenshot in the quarterly economic report. If you look closely at the exploding raven you'll notice that its right wing is being blown off, and it looks like its already lost most of its left wing. Is this part of a new graphics update, or was that screenshot doctored?

Actually, that's not the wing breaking off; it's a recent Minmatar attempt at copying the highly successful Caldari Raven design.
The gunfire and the explosion were only pasted into the picture to hide the duct tape.

yeah they failed at that a bit since they didnt have enough stuff sticking out of them to be able to be flown by minmatars.. that all the pilot licence allows them to drive you must have at least half of your ship in some form of pointy outsticken modules of your ship

Indeed, but then this is only a prototype. The final version will have enough pointy stuff to poke out the eyes of the entire Amarr militia.

It should be in the next trinity release, battleships already have broken wreck models in the game files but the tempest is the only one which actually has most/all of the textures.

Turn off sigs and see if it disappears?

Also I thought it would be cool graphic wise to have bits and pieces burst off a ship when in structure. This can also compensate degenerative so if you stay to long you explode.
