yeah, I was frankly baffled by the inclusion of "more work on the graphics engine!" in the "possible patch notes maybe to come in development perhaps" section of the next big patch teaser. No one I know plays in premium. At least not anyone who PvPs. Better graphics aren't really gonna be something I'll use as long as I'm in 0.0. I still don't know what most of my ships look like in premium.

I think that we will probably see the background environment get a bit shinner, So mission runners rejoice. For the rest of us, Eve will probably remain pretty much the same.

Probably reworked graphics with this patch:
- Planets
- Moons
- POS Structures
- all mission/complexes background items
And maybe, hopefully the space background wallpaper itself, but I don't think so.
Anyways, that would leave all effects to be reworked which is another giant step for another major expansion.

Luckly CCP does NOT follow windows business practices of demanding users to upgrade there computers every year in order to just play the game.
IE EVE classic is still around.
Don't expect 64 anytime soon.
MAYBE when the numbers of users on classic go down then they might consider dropping classic and making a 64 bit option.
As it is EVE already supports

Well anyone who still uses classic must really have a shit pc. I've fought in the biggest pvp battles you could imagine yet i never get graphics lag. Maybe you should get urself a pc that wasn't made by a moron (if u made it and u can't run it then ur the moron). And guess what im talking to u piper so don't mouth off before u actually ask more ppl than just urself. I actually know barely any who still run classic and those ppl who do have no option cause there pc is shit.

Erm.. depends on your machine. I got massive performance problems in fleets no matter what client I use. It's a lagged/server based problem. If you got a decent machine it makes no different.
I for my part used to pvp with premium client I only switch to classic if I've to run 2 accounts at the same time but that's only because my ram sucks big time.
In fact I got a much more smoother gameplay with the premium client (except for stations somehow but who the hell cares about station insides) |

Also khall sounds to me like ur watching too much **** (sounds to me like u have alot of spyware). Also u can use two accounts with prem just have to reduce the cache used. U have to remenber that most of the lag ppl think is due to there machine rather than the server. Yes everyone laggs to deaf in massive pvp fights but u should expect that (what i saying is that using prem over classic doesn't make a differnce).
Also it does make a difference i've just upgraded to a skulltrail system from an average quad core and it made a huge difference in fleet fights yes a still get a little lag (but that just depends if u havent contacted CCP before the fleet fight(yes i know thats a pretty rare situation when u know where the fight happens but it still happens.)

Because when you use the classic graphics in a 1000+ fleet battle, you can really notice the difference in the slideshow. 
You have to admit that some people are not willing to spend their free time in large fleet battles.

What I REALLY want to see is ships that dont behave as if they are manouvering in atmosphere ... ships that turn more like they are in zero g... with the use of manouvering thrusters... I mean, banking... in space! and why exactly does my ship slow down just because the thrusters stop firing... shouldn't the ship have to apply thrust to slow down as well as accelerate?
No matter how pretty the graphics, this element will always make the game feel a little clumsy and un-sophisticated... good kjob it has enough plus points to make up for it :)

Yea sadly these are all down to trying to make the game playable. If they wanted to make it realistic it wouldn't be fun u'd run out of fuel in ever system. Also banking is possible in space infact its easier in space. However all these things weren't put in for the simple reason of whats the point.
