Despite not having played EVE for about 3 months I recently discovered I had been 'appointed' to host some CVA attendees (and Rodj Blake)  .

yeah found out where it's at.. right next to 93feet east and the old truman brewery.
p.s. if anyone happens to miss their dinner the bagel shop at the bottom end of brick lane has some nice bagels. [the one with the white sign not the yellow one next door]. smoke salmon and cream cheese ftw.

venue wasn't the best choice for our special status but we changed later on in the night and it was much more appealing. remember when booking geekfests that we don't like music over speaking level!

Yeah, Mad4it and I got there about 3.30 after having to search for the place for 35-40 minutes. Was fun except for the venue, its hidden location, lack of seats and lack of decent food. Was nice to speak to all those reds again even if I threw up all over some deserted tube station on the way back. ;)
Journey home took three and a quarter hours in the freezing cold which was less fun.....

Was a good time.
Then The Causality kidnapped the party and took it to the Witherspoons and it became a GREAT time! :D
Was awesome seeing some faces I hadn't seen in ages and meeting random new people ;)
I think I may have to arrange a January meet there again.
Will be able to book some/all of the pub just for us depending on turnout.
FYI: It's really rude to vomit inside a pub and then sneak off and not at least let the staff know you've left a pool of sick outside the toilets. They really weren't impressed with that.
