I am running a Q6600 system (Oced to 3.00GHz on a P45 mobo), 4 gig of ram, with an ati 4870 toxic, yet it seems that most of the time running 2 clients causes massive framerate issues. It occurs when running either:
1. 2 TQ clients from the same root exe 2. A TQ and a SISI client from different folders
Is there any way to correct this issue? I'm running normal cache sizes with 8xAA ad 16xAF through catalyst if its any help
Thanks,

Well, you could manually assign cores to each client instance, or just do multiple Tranquility installs like I do and assign separate cores to each one, reduce the graphics, and if you're outputting the clients to separate monitors you can get rid of that.
Also, if you're running in fullscreen mode you might as well stop and run in windowed mode. EVE-Mon'll cause the client to appear to be full-screen and if you still want to use multiple monitors, presuming you already do, you can use EVE Launcher and one or two other programs to output "semi-full-screen" clients to multiple monitors.
Aside from that the only other thing I can think of is for you to describe what you mean by "massive framerate issues," tell us how many monitors you're using, and what graphics mode you're running.
I run 2-3 clients and I get 10-15-20 fps with all 3 loaded, 30-40 with 2, and 30-70 with a single client when running premium graphics and with classic I get around 70-90 fps with one (I've had it up to 177 before) but it drops to 40-50 with two clients and I'm not sure what it's like with 3 clients right now. ____________________

Edited by: ElliaHyperion on 20/10/2008 19:03:43 Dont have the catalyst control center manage the AA and AF. Infact with the 4870 x2, I dont even have the CCC installed. In your setting change it to "allow program setting" or whatever it is and see if that helps with your lag issues.

I am running pretty much the eaxct same setup appart from i am using and x2 instead of the single core card and i am having no problem running 4 clients from the same root .exe, maybe check you GPU drivers are up to date and if that dose not work try a client re-install
