Poeple are flooding the forum with their comments on the subject, some say yes others say no, according to their own experiences (Or maybe just saying something to add to the confusion )
But couldn't we have an official final -sticky- saying on this matter, so we (The confused masses) don't have to float around in the evermore complex forum-limbo to find the answers...
Please give us the facts

One of the important kill missions will now reward the player with an implant. Before this change it was much harder recieving an implant from a kill agent than a courier or mining type of agent.
And yes, I got an Implant. It was in the loot of the Gallent Navy Vexor that I had to kill in the "Importand fight for the Establishment" for the Lai DAi Corp.

I have yet to get (or hear of) a "Yo, dis be a implant mission, dawg" important mission from a kill agent, But I have looted two implants, since patch, from mission spawned empire cruisers (Caldari Navy Blackbird, Federation Navy Vexor, Minmatar Flee Stabber, Amarr Navy Maller(unconfirmed)).
On a related note... Even if they did say, offically, in a sticky, that implants are now (offically) mission spawn drop loot, it wouldn't make a damned bit of difference to those confused if they did not immedietly loot an implant within five missions of reading the sticky, offical, straightforward, easy to understand post.

Ok can som dev comment on this i am maybe just unlucky but i have done the Avenge A Fallen Comrade 10 times without an implant since patch (vexor). Does a kill mission exist when you always get implant. Like transaction Data delivery??

ok heres my experience:
ive worked for caldari navy since day 1. so far i have done 2 IMPORTANT IMPLANT missions, both of which were courier, both of which meant shipping 400 m3 of something 7 jumps and both from different agents. BOTH these agents ONLY gave kill missions (Caldari navy are mainly sec/int. sec agents). So whether or not u get implants from important kill missions, of which i have done quite a few, the IMPORTANT IMPLANT mission has both times been a courier
Thats only personal experience and i wouldnt mind a formal not on it either :)

Caleavera read the older thread "ETA on the unbj0rking of important level 3 kill missions" We all now that its not an important mission. Some people have goten implant drop from lot from this mission.

do these empire cruisers drop the implant that is equivalent to the same one the agent would give ya? i.e. is it the corp specific (in some cases) implant that he will drop if he does?

I don't recall it being an important mission, but I got a +3 Memory implant as a loot drop from a Vexor the other night. Before the patch I got a courier mission from the same agent that gave a +3 Perception implant as the payoff, plus 100K bonus

you dont get an implant as a bonus reward with the kill agents, you get it as a loot from the rats/navy guys you kill.
few days ago I got a +3 perc implant and I've done under 30 missions, and it wasn't an important mission I got it from. ______________ Only in the Tales that humans tell, do the hunters kill the wolf in the end.

I can see that a number of persons are mentioning that they have managed to get implants through loot dropped from npc ships.
Now I'm not saying that these individuals have or have not gotten these implants from kill mission loot. In fact I really hope that they have, since I for one prefer kill missions rather than courrier.
This is yet another thing you could hope that CCP would care to explain...
However, to my own knowledge it's seem incredible that we, Cosmology, on a corporate level have done several hundred kill missions without ever seing an implant as loot, that is if our members are telling the truth
Could we be the most unlucky, though still existing, corp in the eve galaxy

Transaction Data Delivery =======================
Mission briefing: ----------------------- I have something important for you this time. Because of your good standing and the fact you have successfully completed a number of missions for us we have decided you are worth the trust of a very important courier job. It entails bringing a large cargo of transaction and salary logs to this station from (station) where they have been stored for the last few weeks for a routine inspection by the authorities. This data holds information of sensitive nature on our recent business dealings, earnings and expenses and wages that we pay our staff members. Under no circumstances may any of these reports be lost, or worse yet fall into the wrong hands. Pirates have a tendancy to want this information so they can sell it to our rivals. They used to have easy access to this information by hacking our transmission calls, but now that we send these reports via freight this is no longer as serious of a problem. I trust you on this, Purvy, don't let me down.
Standings ----------------------- This is an important mission, which will have significant impact on your faction standings.
Collateral ----------------------- Prior to accepting this mission, the following must be provided by you as collateral, to be returned to you upon successful completion of the mission: 50000 credits
Objectives ----------------------- To complete the mission, the following must be performed by you: four hundred units of Gallente Federation Transaction And Salary Logs must be transported from (station) to (station)
Rewards ----------------------- Upon completing the mission, the following will be awarded to you: one unit of Ocular Filter - Basic at (station) Bonus Rewards ----------------------- The following bonuses may be awarded to you: 79000 credits - if you complete the mission before 2004.07.01 00:31
Extra Info ----------------------- Implants are used to raise a player's abilities, such as attributes or skill bonuses. The implant that you recieve in this mission raises one of your attributes. To use it you simply right click on it and choose plug in, you will see it appear under the "augmentation" tab in your character sheet. Raising your attributes is always a good thing, especially for lowering skill training time. Once your character dies, the implant is lost, since your clone does not retain the implant.

I only run internal security agents.
I run with 3 different ones. two of those 3 have standing over 9.00(one is 9.11. other is 9.88)
I haven't failed a missions since like january, I haven't turned down one single mission, I complete all withing alloted time for mission bonus as well.
Caldari faction standing of almost 8.00
I got no reason not to be getting implants from my understanding but have not gotten one single one since like march.......
here we are about 4 monthes since last implant, over 100 mill ISK in bounties and rewards since last implant and not one single implant drop.
Lame to say very least.
All I can figure is they don't like mission runners without a belly button.
Gotta like all the new missions and agent options but ultimately doing them for implants and more implants. Wish they'd make it standard accross the board no matter what type of agent you run with to get them as this optional when the equation adds up right you get one.
I sware I got to have the longest running dry spell for an implant drop and it's getting me quite ****ed at this point in all honesty.
It would be nice to get a final Sticky from a GM on weather character make up(ie Amarrian border runner or caldari tubie) have any bearing on mission rewards.
I know early on border runners were given what seemed to be better access to more agents and they seemed to get more implant rewards.
Seems like my tubie has had a hell of a time with that and he's my main missioner.
Being implants are such a big factor in the game, seems like they can make this an even up standard thing but don't seem to want it to be as such.
Think about how long they've been changing the implant drop mission.......since release. Seems like everytime they do a patch they change it and screw one form of the drop and nerf it and change the frequency and so on and so on.
Make it standard, for all level 3 agents. Make it happent for only excellent standing on up with lvl 3 agents. How hard can that be.
They can fix turret balancing but can't seem to standardize the implant drop.
