Hey guys, so i was wondering what are the options for solo pvpers nowadays?
I've done most types of pvp but solo pvp seems to be really dieing out. Low sec seems to be totally dead for solo pvpers, no targets except gangs. In 0.0 i've found that the belts are still ok but you really have to watch youself and the 0.0 gates maybe but the only way i've been able to do it is sit way off the gate and fight 50+ kms off the gate.

join the corp im in.
the privateer alliance is perpetually at war and you arent forced to gang , so you can solo all you want and no sec hit. dont forget the convenience of empire shopping!

stick to it - fly ships you can afford to lose a lot. Eventually you will get some good fights.
The other option i found - join a militia, head into the opposing militias territory and find a plex that's size limit is the size of your ship, works best if your a solo cruiser.
Than the only ships that can come in are cruisers at max. Helps even the odds. - - -

Solution - kill gangs. Less flying around for the same amount of loot Might end up in running out of cargo space for the loot after killing few of them, though.

the obvious one is to find a pvp corp.
or follow garmon. _______________________________________________ 10100110010100101010011010100101001100101110101 I will Conquer My Signature Somewhere in the future 10100110010100101010011010100101001100101110101 |

This.
Just because you're out solo doesn't mean you're somehow limited to engaging only other solo pilots.
I once had a 9 man gang running like hell from me through lonetrek. God that was funny.

I don't know all the options or what the best option is, but one option certainly seems to be making threads about solo PVP and being told by 1876394 forum alts that there are no options.

Patience, patience and lots of patience.
While its true that targets are very hard to find, they are still out there. Search for long enough and eventually you will happen upon a hapless ratter. Some weeks you will make 40 jumps and still not find anything, while other days you will find something suitable within three systems.
Finally, as others said, just because your target has backup doesn't mean you have to GTFO. It is glorious when you bring one or more of them down before succumbing yourself. That is just the greatest fun this game has to offer.
No it is not easy. This is why it's so great when you are successful.

I have heaps of fun in my fleet stabber in lowsec. Cause I'm flashy everyone engages and if I get blobbed I can get to a safe distance fast. Also flying a faction ship makes people do stupid stupid things, things like engaging when they shouldn't in the first place. Popped a couple interceptors just by sitting in belts, popped stealth bombers when they engaged me with their gang, but didn't figure the gang can't help them when they're 100km away and then never managed to align.
Also I really like the speed stabber offers, it helps you spread out enemy gangs cause they try to chase you, giving you the possibility to pick them off one by one. Flying a nano ship does mean I can only engage haulers and frigs on gates though, which is sometimes EXTREMELY annoying. But as said above when in a faction ship people sometimes just engage thinking "Ohhh imma keel faction sheeps".
Another way of doing it is of course undocking in a battleship and just engage and hope for the best :P If shit hits the fan, you then get insurance and buy another. (I don't usually do this though, not enough ISK to keep buying trimarks, and without those typhoon is worthless :S) ---

There really is very few options for Solo pvpers. You need to join a corp/alliance. Unless you like pirating then you can gank industrialists. Otherwise, you will always be outnumbered you.

solo pvp is finnneee, just go to a hotspot, amamake, mara, old man star etc, you will usualy find a few guys hanging around also soloing. You do have to be careful about what you engage tho. Keep an eye on local and put notes on everybody you see about what ship thier flying (everyone who you would deem a threat anyways), those notes will come in handy sometime.
Also patience and abit of courage go along way, if theres one thing ive noticed with eve, people without a clue seem to attract together. If one person in a gang has no idea, chances are neither do the other guys in thier gang. Remember, no guts no glory! xD
Another thing too, dont be annoyed when you die, learn from your loses and every loss becomes a win.

sit 50+ kms off a 0.0 gate in a speed fitted crusier or better (vagabond is an excellent but expensive choice) and have some fun splitting gangs up and picking targets off one by one - worst case senario = you get a few kills and then warp off :)

My experiences with solo PvP have resulted in my ship's death. I haven't actively seeked out PvP, but it found me. Let me tell you my Drake isn't the greatest PvP ship, lol.

Who says solo pvp is dead, I love to go out solo looking for fights (in 0.0), havn't gotten any kills yet (mostly due to getting neuted to death and losing tackle) but they have all been a blast, and I follow Garmon when he says grab a rupture and go for it.
Also a guy in my corp/alliance has gotten about 2/3 of his kills solo, and hes caldari , so if he can do it anyone can.

For instance, don't engage Rifters who will call in backup to the tune of an assault frigate and (Andrea's) Rupture to kill your poor Rifter.
