this is becoming unbearable i posted eariler on this and had no reply and so i will post again but this time the thread shall be bumped everyday until i get some response from either CCP or a mod.
Is this problem going to be sorted out? As a paying customer (i consider the forums to be apart of the game i pay for) the least i expect is a response, i understand that with the number of threads and posts that are posted daily a thread can easily become "lost"
5-8 minutes per page is stupid please do something about this.

The forums almost load instantly here
You cant blame CCP if there are no replies to your thread. Its up to the users if they make a reply or not

Same problems here, lots of lag and timeouts. To get into a forum page i normally have to press it several time before it responds. It was fine till after the last server upgrades!
Does anyone else get alot of errors when trying to run the Tracert command to any of the official EVE online websites?
"This means V+R."

i don't blame them thats why i am keeping the thread active to make sure that they see it, if is a simply bandwidth issue and they say sorry nothing we can do thats fine but i would just like someone to comment.

*bump* Agreed. It's a simple answer. All they have to do is answer us.

Considering only paying customers can get an account and actually use the forums(AFAIK), I think this is a very reasonable request. After all, we are paying for it! So how about it CCP, man up and tell us the truth here!

Bumpz0r
Forum lag is evidently connected to your ISP... or rather the route data follows...somewhere there is a bad link.
... don't have tracert details now but I get instant response on my 56k modem on another ISP than on my adsl line (it sometimes takes 5 minutes to load a page)

No, the forum lag happens when Traquility is under load and there are general Eve problems. I susspect that the forum is hosted on the same machines that the game runs on - the forums are always utterly crap when the game itself is dropping nodes and generally dying. Other times the forum is 'fine'.
The forums are utterly useless as a support mechanism when you need them most - ie to check and see why your node just died (again)

Stop trolling.
The GMs are already aware of lag problems both webserver and gameserver side. They dont need you trying to draw away customers or potential new customers with your nonsense.
The reason they arent responding is because this is what they feel about your post, but dont want to say such as it may hurt their public image. So, ill say it for them: STFU. So is said. |
