I am kind of curious? I know the bounty system is borked from tokio to new york. But What are the highest bounty's in eve atm. Is there a top 10 somewhere?

Akiara has the highest bounty currently standings at 10'235'621'671.
You can see the high-bounty folks by ocking in station and clicking the bounty button on the right hand side.

ok, who on earth would do enough to get such a massive bounty, they have got to be multiple bounties added up...., oh, i believe its the snotty bio that player has

Player bounties do in fact, add up, so it wasn't just one person who put that huge amount on their head.
Because of jump clones and alts/friends, any high bounty can be removed painlessly (jumpclone to an empty body, pod away, split/keep the ISK), I think a great majority of big bounties are self placed.
Its not always the case, but sometimes it is. People would do odd things for fame.

Akiara can be seen in Providence low sec fairly often, very canny pilot though. Uses various alts to keep a wary eye, and favours stations with large undocking area.

IIRC Akiara used an alt to place the 10.2b on himself, and he's planning on keeping it until he either gets podded or quits.

He sadly passed away and as a tribute the eve community was asked to donate to his bounty. 13billion i believe it's at right now.

Meh I had his bounty or should have. Turns out because an exploit was used I didn't get it and GMs couldn't give it to me. Although they did confirm I should have.
Maybe after they fix it
