i have an idea for a new module, it would be a meduim slot, and would be aimed for cruiser/BS set-up's
it would bacically reverse any draining/neutralizing weapons being fired upon at ur ship... i'm sure alot of people have found when trying to get though gates that once they have u locked it's hard to get out in one piece, mainly my reasoning was that they had shield, cap neuatalizing and cap draining weapons on me, which after ur locked i have no defence against(or atleast i know none) there should be a module that effectivly swap's this arround so gate camp's have to wonder "does he have a module on" before he/she lock's and drains me this is just a small thing i would like to be added to the game, only gate campers,pvp pirates and bounty hunters, corp security would ever use PvP weapons like that, and adding this module would add more thinking to what they have to do now

I think this is a bad idea. Why should a singel module be able to neuter an onslaught with energy siphons? People using these weapons do so for a reason. You can use the same energy siphons against them if you can lock them.
I assume you have fallen into such a trap and now you want an easy counter. Well there is none as such. If you are traveling in space with low security bring friends or avoid crowded system. Look at the map for kills in the last 24/1 hour.
The players that use these tatics with energy siphons use teamwork to acomplish their goal. Why on earth should you be able to nullify that with 1 module?

I think what this guy is on about is gate camps where one or more ships energy drain/neutralize you to basically take away the lifeblood of any ship, cap, instantly pretty much.
You can't really prevent that if you are caught alone.

i didn't have a problem until a group of 4 BS's and a cruiser ganked me at a 0.4 gate, i thought u couldn't camp anything above 0.3 so i was caught out, i would still like a way to cancel them out some way, they can still kill me with big gun and missiles, i just hate the fact that i'm sitting there watching my ship blow up and me pod killed and there was nothing i could do about it, those thing's A.never miss, and B.stop me from shield boosting/armor tanking/using afterburns to get away, i just want a ship fitting that will make them think twice before just draining me

well its either they neutralize the ship and demand ransom or just destroy the ship and hope for some good loot ;)

So I was right. You got caught and like some many before you cravled onto the boards. Nothing new.
They worked as a team and achived their goal of kiling you in an attemp to get your modules or just for the sake of killing you.
You also commited another big mistake. You thought you could not get killed near sentry guns in empire. Never think you know, know you know!
Asumptions like that are the mother of screw ups.
Next time bring friends or be more cautious when moving around. If that is not to your like stay out of 0.4 and lower and you'll be fine.
There is already warpcore stabs and instajumps and now you wish to nullify energy drainers. Whats next, a module that nullify guns?

well the way they did it sucked, the best minmatar fleet repub (kill)agent in the game is in gelfiven, and that is a 0.6 system, so the dam 6 member pirate corp set up a gate camp on in the next system along knowing that agent missions would send heavly armed cruisers and BS's to them, the cruiser locked me down while the BS's hit me with large guns, i hit my XL shield booster and then they drained me like i was drink though a straw. i just wanted somthing i can fit that can defend me from these things, as i had my mission weapon's on which were all long range weapons and i had no chance to either get back to the gate, warp away from them after the temp cloaking, or target them as they had already jammed me and locked me down after just 4 sec's .... i didn't have a friend near me coz i was doing missions and i(like alot of others) do missions alone

Find another agent. Sad but true. If he is the best he probably give the best rewards too. Risk/profit. Players intend on killing other players are usually smart when it comes to finding ways to do so.
Another way is to send in an alt first and look if it's safe. This works best if you got a second account to run alongside your main.
But basically what you are saying is that a group of players worked together to bring you down and that is unfair so you want a module that can counter that group of players when you are alone.
Please plug in your brain before you make another post.

i can't remember who it was, it was before the patch. anyway, i don't want a module that can rule over the weapons, i just want one that can maybe distrupt them long enough for me to get away if possible, killing players is far too easy as it is, it's rare to be able to get away if more then 2 BS's are on u and ur locked down, it's sheer number's 2 Vs 1 = i die, 5 Vs 1 = i died within 10 sec's of them fireing on me i just wanted to get out of there but i couldn't coz once u jump into a system ur place 15km's away from the jump gate and with them killing my cap's i couldn't use my AB's to get back to the gate, also, i was sure that anything above 0.3 was deemed a safe system around the stargates(before the patch,when no spawns were coming there), so to sum it all up, i lost my BS, i got pod killed(lost 3 implants) and all coz some idiot pirate corp camped a gate i thought was uncampable (i thought 0.4 was a condord warp-in zone when fired upon, or atleast the S.gun's should have fired)

Those were your mistakes 
Try to learn from them instead of demanding changes. Anything below 1.0 is not safe.

The Sentries were probably already firing. As this was pre patch it was possible to sticth up a system with a few pilots. You should have known better than to expect CONCORD in a 0.4 system. If you are concerned you should kit out for either dampening or ECM/ECCM. Then you could get by. Insta jumps always work well too.

karakaran, 1. i wasn't excepting a gate camping group next door to a system with 20+ members 2. i had my mission kill equipment on, which meant i didn't have anything on that the rat's wouldn't use, i also i 4 warp stabbers fitted that did no good at all 3. insta jump's wouldn't work coz they were waiting on the other side of the gate , if i had warped in to 15km's from them i could have warped out, but with them within 5km's of me as i was still in that jumpgate cloak, i hit my warpdrive and before it activated they had warpjammed me and locked me down with jamming and speed jamming
also the week before i saw some1 in a 0.4 system try and shoot me as i warped though and both concord and the S.guns fired and killed his cruiser with-in 4 shot's

If you think having cap would make a difference, then try using cap boosters (you can even cram 800 charges into medium cap boosters). Nosferatu/energy drainers have a reasonably long cycle time, so you should have enough time to activate your magic module(s).
But if you find yourself jammed, warpscrambled and webbed by 4 bs and a cruiser I doubt that there's anything you could (or even: should be able to) do other than to bring friends or a disposable ship.
