May sound dumb but bare with me i'm new : ). If my main role is going to be tackling and theres no way my t2 3 standard missle launchers are going to make a difference can i just leave my launchers off to make more modual room, or is that crazy?

go ahead - fit a warp disruptor, mwd, and nano's/overdrives.....then possibly a cap recharger in a 3rd mid if you ahve one, and leave the rest. I fit 1 launcher on my crow to ninja onto other killmails if im tackling a primary, but secondary is gonna die first (for whatever reason).
Im assuming you're talking crows.
For a crusader or taranis, not fitting guns is bad, as you are in a great anti-inty ship.

By all means bring some guns... Getting on killmails of stuff you're not tackling is reward enough, so is killing drones, so is scaring off other inties. But if you need the fitting room, saving on the guns first makes a LOT of sense... |
