A brief overview of the recent events in Syndicate ;
So there are a few changes that have occurred recently in my little area of Eve, lots of long time residents have moved on/restructured, died or returned. OSS, NOTR, former BRUCE corps, SWAT, Warmongers. We have had PL, Goons, raiders from the north and the usual wanabees it can't be described as quiet.
Hostile visits to the area include the local æFrenchÆ from Curse who arrive in numbers with a nice capital support fleet in Reblier. We decided to lure their support five or six jumps away (about 70 ships) and hot drop a few dreads, their carries are hanging around outside docking range and it is too much to resist.
We set gank and siege on arrival, we despatch a couple of faction fitted carriers in fast order and start to leave, however one pilot does not set siege to manual and heÆs stuck unable to jump. This dread bites the dust as the swarm returns to support their expensive assets, a second to a dropped connection.
With the demise of the as yet unborn super caps that where to be delivered by UNAT and CAN, PL moved their attention to securing high end moons in Syndicate.
The comms crackled into life ôCyno in system, several caps now here, make that 40ö followed by a brief pause (and I mean brief) ôthe POS is in reinforcedö a few minutes later in another system not so far off , ôCyno in systemö repeat above.
So we made plans to defend and 36 hours later, battle comms on vent, not too shabby a gate camp, with a couple of hostiles in local ôCyno upö local rises then BOOM doomsday away, the gate camp à those that are not fast at warping off are floating gently in pods. Local explodes Capitals move on to the tower and the PL support fleet arrives, nano heavy. BS and HACs with fast lock support. Needless to say PL achieved their objective. Everything seemed to have settled down now, Red Skull have been contesting PC9 pocket though time zones have limited battles and Thorn Alliance have also entered the fray in their support
There have been several rather æcolourful exchangesÆ in local with both sides claiming victories and bragging rights. Red Skull claimed a dread kill in their prime time but over all kills favour the longterm residents.
Thorn arrived on Saturday afternoon with Red Skull, 120 of them in PC9 all the gates were bubbled by us in anticipation and several sniping runs took place and were successful. The hostiles move off to attack a POS and we followed losing a gang hugely outnumbered, but all did not go the enemyÆs way and we picked off several BS and support as they returned home. Sunday proved successful with a kill ration of 20 to 1 in our favour, but the best was yet to come.
With the empire war between Huzzah and Red Skull entering its fourth week, action had been slow but then while roaming in PF a war target freighter is spotted 10 jumps away and we set off at top speed. We lose contact for a couple of jumps then find him 15k off a gate æpoint, æwebÆ, æengageÆ shields and armour gone, now to structure, then ôstop shooting, stop shooting, heÆs ejectedö, ôyour kiddingö.
The pilot is no longer in the Providence and we have it locked down after 10 minutes of organised chaos a plot arrives and the freighter is ours full of loot nothing much to mention apart from a fully rigged Tristan which must be the most expensive T1 frigate in Eve à
So, to war with Thorn, do they realise we have started ? Carnage in empire loads of kills, few losses.
Syndicate is not full of pirates as the Eve the political map states, itÆs an NBSI, NPC wild west-style hell-hole, itÆs fun.

The Red Skull are Contesting the PC9 Pocket? Didnt TRS move in AFTER Huzzah packed up and moved to their New Home?
Last i knew Huzzah moved OUT of PC9 to SU. Took down some of the OSS and Co. POS's. Alliance mail stated that everyone should move out of PC9 and to S-U as thats Huzzahs new home.
Oh then wait, Intel on PL planning to visit to take down Huzzahs prime moons! OH NOES. Kick 3/4's of the corps out, move back to PC9 as TRS isnt as strong during the EU times to keep the KB Stats up.
This in turn doesnt make Huzzahs KB look bad when PL finally shows up to take the moons. Instead of 100ppl getting DD by PL it was only a handfull. (not talking about Huzzahs Blue List BTW)
Word was corps were kicked, high-tail it for PC9 b4 PL shows up in a couple weeks. Let the moons go when PL shows up as they wouldnt have the #'s to defend.
I had respect for the way Huzzah once was, went downhill rather fast imo.
Oh WTS a cyno rifter in ZNO, and a Shuttle in 2G

Tygris didnt want to live in TA anyway amirite?
.... but um yeah ... NOTR is back to syndicate. So far its been a blast, we are on operation B A N A N A S , and all is well.
Side note: apparently some fail NC bandwagon alliance "THORN" thinks they can chill in syndicate. So far all they have accomplished from what we can tell is to send us evemails stating they are "BOB FC's" and that it "Would be unwise to smack them" in local, which we got some lulz from.
Overall , good to be back, nice to see huzzah kept lower synd warm for us

"In an age of spin, The Huzzah Federation Information Minister ZarnieWoop offers feeling and authenticity. His message is consistent -- unshakable, disregard the evidence just believe him -- but he commands attention by his on-the-spot, invective-rich variations on the theme. His lunatic counter-factual art is more appealing than the banal awfulness of the Reliable Sources. He is a Method actor in a production that will close in a couple of days. He stands superior to truth."
I just couldn't help but to point out the similarities of Zarnie's post and the comical ravings of Muhammed Saeed al-Sahaf the Iraqi Information Minister. They've asked several times that we be civil and not post on CAOD but here they are again starting it up. Be it faceless alts in no name corporations or the Information Minister/Leader of the Federation, the rhetoric is the same.

TBH Im not sure why we arent talking about more important things here like whos sig has the hottest chick or something. Much more interesting and entertaining.
So far im with Andromeda's as it's just revealing enough to get your attention, yet perfectly laid out to keep it legal :P
