After our last recruiting drive we recieved some excellent corp members. Exactly the type we were looking for. So now that they are settled in and in their respective squadrons we are at it again.
What we are looking for.
-Players in any time zone, we have three very active Squadrons one in European, North American, and Australian time zones. Its up to you what squadron you wish to work with.
-Mature individuals. Ok, Im not the shining example of maturity. But alot of our corpmembers are. Our demographics range from 15 to well.....up there a ways. The mean age probably being somewhere in the mid to late twenties.
-Discipline. You have to respect our chain of command. We are not tyrants, but Squadron missions must be met, and everyone does their part. This does NOT mean you spend all your time working for the corporation. Quite the opposite. You work with your squadron. Corporation goals are set by headquarters each week to coordinate the squadrons.
-Military experience.This is not a requirement, but is highly encouraged. We have a large military structure and player base (both active and ex) we issue OPORD's for missions. We communicate via voice comm's using disciplined radio procedures. (well we try too )
-Be ready to take risks.Our corp operates in and around dangerous enviroments. Some people dont like us, some people do. You will lose ships, you will engage in PvP. Your squadron will help you succeed and help replace those losses. Its up to you to learn to be an effective member of your squadron. Everyone has there place, miners/haulers/fighters of all types.
-Be able to have fun.Because if you take EVE too seriously your too weird for this corp. We are loose, we play Eve drunk alot, we laugh and tell jokes on TS. We win some fights, we lose fights, we have fun.
What you can expect from AWM
-Structure We have a command structure that will coordinate the Squadrons and work for a higher goal, we will challenge you. You will know who is in charge and what the mission is at all time.
-Player Base We have an established VERY active player base. There is always someone on in our corp. There are members of our alliance on. You will have someone to work with.
-Resources- AWM has a large amount of resources that are available to our members. We make a large selection of ships/ modules/ most ammunition in house. This also includes interceptors and tech2 goodies. We have security systems that protect these assets. However the resources are there for the squadrons use.
-Fun and excitementWe are here to have fun. If that means trying the impossible then we may try it. It feels good to win, especially against the odds.

Here are a list of member rules in AWM so you know what your getting in too. Let you see what kind of organization we are. Its in our forums, and our members are required to abide by them. Also stop by here and check out the cool site. They did a good job there.
----------------AWM General Orders------------------------
1) Have fun, its a frigging game. Of course saying this its hard to have fun when you just lost that Apocolypse you spent weeks trying to get. Therefore take a breather and come re-read the rules when that happens. If anyone gets too serious, including me, tell them to go re-read the rules.
2) Do not conduct yourself in such a way that it is embarrasing to AWM or detrimental to our allies or friends. Still have fun, but dont smack talk in local, dont cuss in local, throw stupid random insults, or the best one "I can trace your IP and come hack your computer/kick your ass/or send my and my mates to firebomb your family". This stuff is juvenile and embarrassing to the corporation. I know tempers flare up when you lose a ship, I know its difficult to keep your cool when some zit faced 15 year old kid is telling you that you are stupid. Big Deal, the best policy is to not say anything in local, if they want to come talk to us there are two public channels they can come speak to us in. If you do speak in local though, one person (hopefully the highest ranking) will speak, this person will be polite yet firm and stress our points for whatever actions we are taking. This shows discipline and resolve. Remember there are people in the other end of that computer, good and bad, and this weeks enemies are next weeks allies. So be professional.
3) Squadrons are responsible for the care of their people and equipment. If you want to make a new ship, if you want money and or modules. Talk to your squadron, that is what they are there for. Corp assets (i.e. BPO's and BPC's) may be used, however it is up to the squadrons to get the minerals. These squadrons are not just military, each of them has mining and refining/production capabilities. Take care of your people. If you have someone that does not fit in the squadron or is making AWM look bad GET RID OF THEM. Hire people you want to work with, not just to "pad your stats". I would rather have 30 hard core people that worka s a team than 70 people who are randomly bumping in to each other.
4) Mind the chain of command. You voted on it. In the future there may be more squadrons, there may be wings in each squadron. The oppurtunity for advancement exists. If there needs to be a change in leadership then contact me and we can discuss it, every 3 months I would like to see a re-vote on commanders. If you have a problem with me, talk to Detrious or your commanders.
5) Keep the chain of command informed. This is imperative, if you have combat action, if you did something that was good or bad, then let someone know. Preferably in the forums where we can see. It allows us to develop strategies. The quicker the better, dont hide anything. We dont mine all the time, we dont fight all the time. Sometimes politics and diplomacy are the big things in this game. So lets do it right.
6) The corporation rewards success Those Squadrons that are the most successful wil get the bulk of the corp assets to help them. Hey we all love a winner. Numbers dont matter, productivity, making your deadlines, taking care of your people, keeping AWM in the righteous light is what matters. We will reward success. Soon there will be profit sharing to the Squadrons among other things.
7) Reread the rules Read all the stuff that is not bold so you understand them too.

Thanks to everyone who responded, the quality of applicates has been outstanding. I apologize I will be away until Tuesday. Our alliance is having a party and why not go to Britain for the 4th of July. Please contact a squadron commander if you cant wait.
