I heard a rumor from a friend that a Dreadnought cannot be brought into Empire Space? Is this the case? I cannot find anything online about this. Thanks a lot! |

All true capital ships (dreads, carriers, titans and motherships) cannot go into hi-sec. Freighters and jump freighters can (as can the Orca once it goes live). |

A long time ago, you could build them in empire space. A few people still have some in empire, but, if they leave the system they are in, they will not be able to return. |

They've changed that. They have moved all cap ships down to low sec. So, no more Veldnought. |

Got moved back. It was a heavyhanded move by the GMs, and there was a huge community backlash.

Edited by: Shereza on 26/10/2008 05:02:33 Basically what I believe it boils down to now is that if a high-sec capital ship engages in PvP or, and I'm probably badly paraphrasing, "any activity in which the capital provides a significant advantage over other players" will get immediately deported to the nearest low-sec system. |

And then they 'un' changed it. So yes, there still is a Veldnought. However they now have official rules for their use in highsec, which include never undocking it while at war.

Shouldn't be, since they were only ever able to be built at POS's which could only be anchored 0.5 > 0.7. Jita being 0.9 wouldn't be able to have one built there unless a GM did something dumb and reimbursed one there.
